The Provision CARES Foundation provides educational

Join Provision CARES Foundation in the fight against cancer on
June 19, 2015 at Avalon Golf & Country Club. This inaugural event
is a 4-person scramble with tee times scheduled for 8am & 1:30pm.
Each player will receive a generous goody bag, complimentary
range balls, meals, drinks and snacks, while enjoying one of the
premier golf courses in East Tennessee!

In honor and memory of Bill Williamson, who fell victim
to prostate cancer on June 15, 2014, we are proud to
announce the first annual Bill Williamson Memorial Golf
Tournament. Diagnosed with prostate cancer in his early
50’s, Bill fought a very determined and courageous
fight against the disease until his passing at age 72.
As is often the case with others who endure prostate
cancer, his fight too often included times of hope and
disappointment as well as victory and defeat. Yet
throughout the years of his ongoing battle, he led his
fight with a sense of determination and dignity that was
admired and respected by all who knew him. A loving
and devoted family man, a loyal and beloved friend, and
an inspiration to all, Bill personified the spirit of “never
quit” and “never give up”.
In honor and memory of his life well lived and a fight well
fought, it is our hope and intention that the proceeds
from the 1st Annual Bill Williamson Golf Tournament will
serve to benefit others who are confronted with the often
dire challenges of prostate cancer. In the spirit of Bill,
hope and a cure, “never quit” and “never give up”.
