Head and Neck Surgery of Veterans Memorial Medical
Center cordially invites all ENT-HNS residents and
specialists, both local and foreign to our 8th Laryngeal
Post-Graduate Course: International Symposium on
Phonosurgery and Hands-on Human Larynx Cadaver
Workshop on Isshiki Thyroplasties to be held at the
Basilio Valdes Hall, Veterans Memorial Medical Center.
The department is honored to bring for the first time in
our country, Dr. Nobuhiko Isshiki, the pioneer of
Thyroplasty (Isshiki) Techniques and his associates, Dr.
Masahiro Tanabe, Assistant Professor Emeritus from
Kochi University Graduate School of Medicine and Dr.
Shinya Hiroshiba, Chairman of Hiroshiba ENT Clinic,
Kyoto Surgicenter, all from Kyoto, Japan as our special
