Young Life Camp Details & Fundraisers June 12-20 Young Life Summer Camp at Malibu Club (British Columbia, Canada) Malibu Club Itinerary Friday, June 12th Flights depart Sky Harbor throughout the day, beginning at 6AM and ending at 5:25PM. Students will fly with their school and their leaders will chaperone them. Arrival in Seattle with their leaders. We will collect luggage and send students and leaders to enjoy downtown Seattle via the short train ride (cost included). At 11PM our charter buses will meet us at the Space Needle and then drive throughout the night toward Egmont. We will likely cross the border around 1AM-2AM, at this point cell phones would be in international mode, making calls and data quite expensive. Saturday, June 13th Charter buses will go onboard the BC Ferry ride from Horseshoe Bay to Langdale (approx 45 min). Then the buses will continue on to Egmont, British Columbia where Young Life has a small property and is the dock for the Malibu Princess charter boat (capacity 400 people). We will then take the 3 hour ride to Malibu. Arrival at Malibu for a great week of camp! Friday, June 19th Departure from Malibu via the Princess, then boarding charter buses, taking the ferry and heading toward the United States. Arrival in Bellingham around 10:30PM, approx 30 min south of the Canadian border and 2 hours north of Seattle. We will be staying at the Econolodge for the night. Saturday, June 20th Breakfast (included) at the hotel and then depart for SeaTac Airport, Seattle. Flight depart at 3PM, 7PM, and 9PM and arrive at 6PM, 9:30PM, and 11:30PM respectively. ** Details of which flight students will be on won’t be available until early June in order to try to keep as many students from each school together. A $300 non-refundable deposit is due March 30th. Spending Money: Travel to camp: 4-5 fast food meals ($20-$30?) Travel back from camp: 2-4 fast food meals ($10-$25?) Optional snacks, gifts at camp store ($20-???)
