Malibu Club
Itinerary
Friday, June 12th
Flights depart Sky Harbor throughout the day,
beginning at 6AM and ending at 5:25PM.
Students will fly with their school and their
leaders will chaperone them.
Arrival in Seattle with their leaders. We will collect
luggage and send students and leaders to enjoy
downtown Seattle via the short train ride (cost
included).
At 11PM our charter buses will meet us at the Space
Needle and then drive throughout the night
toward Egmont.
We will likely cross the border around 1AM-2AM,
at this point cell phones would be in
international mode, making calls and data quite
expensive.
Saturday, June 13th
Charter buses will go onboard the BC Ferry ride
from Horseshoe Bay to Langdale (approx 45
min). Then the buses will continue on to
Egmont, British Columbia where Young Life
has a small property and is the dock for the
Malibu Princess charter boat (capacity 400
people). We will then take the 3 hour ride to
Malibu.
Arrival at Malibu for a great week of camp!
Friday, June 19th
Departure from Malibu via the Princess, then
boarding charter buses, taking the ferry and
heading toward the United States.
Arrival in Bellingham around 10:30PM, approx 30
min south of the Canadian border and 2 hours
north of Seattle. We will be staying at the
Econolodge for the night.
Saturday, June 20th
Breakfast (included) at the hotel and then depart
for SeaTac Airport, Seattle.
Flight depart at 3PM, 7PM, and 9PM and arrive at
6PM, 9:30PM, and 11:30PM respectively.
** Details of which flight students will be on won’t
be available until early June in order to try to
keep as many students from each school
together.
