Dear Parents of Rising 7th – 12th Graders,
Kent Island High School will be home to its third year of summer theatre through a
program called the Kent Island Theatre Summer Camp! The camp’s previous entertaining
productions include Aladdin, Jr. and Annie, Jr. KITSC is the idea of theatre teacher and
musical director at Kent Island High School, Mr. Kevin Reagan. The mission of this
program is to serve as an enrichment opportunity for those students who would like to
explore the performing arts through their participation in a full-length musical production.
This year, KITSC is pleased to announce that it is continuing its program with Disney’s The
Little Mermaid, Jr.! The program will run directly following the end of the school year
from June 17 through July 16, Monday – Thursday (except for July 2nd) with performances
in the evening on July 15 and 16. Camp hours are 9:00AM – 3:00PM. Your child will
audition the first day of camp. Throughout the program, your child will work continuously
with a vocal director, choreographer, and director on a daily basis.
Registration due date for the program is April 1, 2015, with a non-refundable deposit of
$100 due on or before that date. The deposit goes directly towards the total enrollment fee.
Total enrollment is $415 and will not be due until June 1, 2015. KITSC is offered to rising
7th – 12th grade students. This is a wonderful opportunity for any child expressing interest
in the performing arts.
Because of the nature of the program, it is recommended that your child be in attendance
for each day of camp. If there are scheduled conflicts please let me know at the e-mail
address below to see if there is something that can be done to ensure full participation.
Transportation and lunch are not provided, however, time is allotted for lunch every day, so
please make sure that your child comes with a packed lunch. Students are not permitted to
leave school property for lunch during camp hours.

of the second page, or drop off at Kent Island High School. Once registered there will be
a meeting Monday, June 8th at 7:00PM for you and your child to meet the staff of KITSC
and to receive more details on camp rules and operation. If you should have any questions
