Competition is run in accordance with the
rules and regulations outlined in the
current National Technical Regulations Part
B. This is accessible via the GA Website

EVENT MEDICAL PERSONNEL
During competition and training, a
Gymnastics Australia appointed doctor
and/or physiotherapist will be in
attendance. For further medical assistance
outside of competition & training times,
the GA medical team will seek & facilitate
medical appointments at an appropriate
medical centre. If you have a competing
athlete under 18, your Team Manager may
contact you if there are any concerns if
medical attention is required.
PHOTOGRAPHY
Gymnastics Australia has partnered with
WinkiPoP Media who will be at Hisense
Arena for the duration of the event.
Gymnastics Australia is working closely
with WinkiPoP Media to capture every
moment of the event. WinkiPoP Media
have a range of products available to
gymnastics teams, athletes and parents.

 Pay Deposit of $800.00
 Complete all QLD State Team Forms

STRAPPING TAPE
All athletes MUST bring their own supply of
medical strapping tape. State team medical
personnel only carry emergency supplies.
NO TAPE - NO STRAPPING
QLD PHYSIO TEAM
All QLD State Teams travel to Australian
Championships with access to Physio
support. Athletes benefit from having a
dedicated medical professional as a member
of the travelling team to manage athlete
requirements that occur as a result of
competition and training at the event.
STATE TEAM MEETINGS
COMPULSORY State Team Meetings will be
held after each State Team Announcement.
All team members including officials MUST
attend these meetings. If athletes are U18
years a parent must be in attendance with
the athlete at these meetings.

accommodation and food are arranged entirely
through the GQ office.

accommodation at a designated time TBA.

All team meals are arranged through the GQ
office. Athletes with special requirements are
asked to complete their details on the State
Team Forms. All meals will be catered &
prepared by the QLD Catering Team.

together at the team accommodation

KEY POINTS FOR ONLINE ORDERING
Use Google Chrome for best website use.
In Confirm Address – Addressee, enter as
athletes name – discipline as examples below:

Uniforms if being delivered will be to the address
provided by you, so make sure it is correct. If
collecting from the store you will contacted by
KUKRI when your order is ready for collection so
make sure you include a phone number that you can
be contacted on during working hours to make the
process easy.
KUKRI is not a shop so fittings are not available in
store. Please do not turn up expecting to try and fit
items to make sure they still fit before collecting, as
you will be disappointed when told this is not an
option.
Orders will be packed in the order that they are
placed online. Deliveries will be posted and orders to
be collected will be contacted once they are ready.

WAG
OPTIONAL LEOTARDS
OPTIONAL LEOTARDS FOR QLD WAG TEAM
Must be a GK Leotard
It is a requirement that the Optional Leotards worn by all Queensland WAG gymnasts at Australian
Championships are GK Leotards. In order to meet a short time frame for production and supply of
individually customised leotards, GK have put together the following process. This process will
need to be followed by all gymnasts who are intending to wear optional leotards on Day Two (2) of
competition at Australian Championships.
 There should be a Pre-Order placed with GK PRIOR to State Championships – as per the below
requests. The Pre-Order will not be a commitment to purchase or require any payment.
 All orders then MUST be confirmed, finalised and paid to GK by 5pm Tuesday 14th April. This is
the day after State Championships/Selection Trial. Orders for Australian Championships will not
be accepted by GK after this date.
 Wherever possible, supply as much information as possible to GK in the Pre-Order so they can
prepare materials, jewels etc and have them on the production line without delay.
 It is recommended that all gymnasts, whether they qualify or not, start to select their style,
using the US website www.gkelite.com and go into the "Design Studio" section. There you will
be able to work on colours, jewels etc and establish what your options are. The site will indicate
the price for each of their options in US dollars, before jewelling, and then a total, when jewels
are added as these are selected.
 However this is NOT the final price. As GK is a sponsor of Gymnastics Qld the leotards ordered
by Qld State Team gymnasts will be subsidised to an extent, as part of the overall sponsorship.
 Once the design is selected through the website, the gymnasts will then need to call BRENDA at
GK on 02 99705189. Brenda will work through their selection and provide a final price. Brenda
will advise them individually whether they will require further documentation such as an order
form with all the details applicable to their selection.
 At this point GK will hold these details as a Pre-Order until the gymnasts is selected or
otherwise.
 Upon selection, confirmation and payment of the Pre-Order is required by Tuesday 14th April
and GK will then advise the factory to commence manufacturing.
 Gymnasts must know their size. Sizing and fittings can be arranged with Denise Rookwood by
appointment. A full set of fit sample sizes are available to try on. Contact Denise at the GQ
Office on 3036 5600 or email [email protected].
 GK also have special order catalogues which can be forwarded to clubs if requested.
