Audition Notice for Alberta School Touring production of
The Umbrella

Rehearsal and tour dates: September 24 – November 13th, 2015.

Roles:
The Man – Male or female. Strong puppetry skills required.
The Umbrella/Storyteller/Shopkeeper/Crow – Male or female. Strong puppetry skills are an
asset.
Audition Date
Monday, May 11th, 2015 . Auditions will take place at our office address as listed
below. Please prepare one monologue, no longer than 2 minutes in length. Candidates will also
be asked to demonstrate puppetry skills. Please note if successful, all performers are required
to set up and strike the set twice a day as well as perform.

Deadline for submissions is May 4th, 2015.
Equity and Non-Equity artists may submit. We thank all artists in advance for their interest
however those selected for an interview/audition will be contacted. Please do not call Quest
Theatre.
