2015 Driver Point Fund Payout Formula
The 2015 Driver Championship Point Fund will be paid based on 3% of the weekly purse
that is paid out. If the weekly purse is $31,605, a total of $948.15 will be contributed to
the 2015 Point Fund for that week. Each week 3% will be added to the Point Fund from
the current weeks purse.
Each division will earn its Point Fund dollars based on the total purse paid to its division,
therefore if there are more cars in a division there will be a greater purse paid each
week resulting in a greater point fund payout.
Within a division, a % of the total Point Fund dollars earned will be paid to positions 1 –
15. The example below shows how this would work for the Challenger division.
EXAMPLE – Based on a $2,500 Guaranteed Challenger Point Fund.
