We give all glory to the Lord! These souls were baptized at Chesa, Dando, Bulawayo, Kumbudzi, and Madlulani. Please pray for them so that they too may grow unto spiritual maturity and be fruitful in His vineyard. The WBS has again been given permission to teach the Bible to prison inmates at Khami Maximum Prison. Please pray for the success of this ministry. Brother Mthokozisi Sibanda is leading this Ministry. We have just received a letter from the Churches of Christ in Mtshabezi. It reads as follows and it is a translated copy: " To the Churches of Christ: Greetings in the name of Christ to all Churches of Christ. We are appealing for food aid. This year we did not receive any rains at all in Mtshabezi District. We are facing a very serious drought. Our granaries are now empty and we as villagers are finding it very difficult to make ends meet. We remember very well that you our brothers and sisters helped us some years back when we faced similar drought and our children survived through your help. This is why now we are coming back to you our brothers and sisters for such help. May God bless you! Yours in Christ: Andrew Moyo, Macrea Tshuma, Roger Nkala and Mbuso Moyo representing the Churches of Christ in Mtshabezi District." The Amazon Church of Christ Clinic was unveiled by brother Carl Rudd who togetherness with his family contributed much finance towards its construction. On this day, many villagers gathered to witness this important event. Velaphi preached while brother Rudd did the unveiling. We thank all who contributed towards this noble project especially brother Dorian, his wife Cheri and Partners for Africa . This clinic will not only help villagers health wise but will also be used as an evangelism arm of the church in Filabusi. Our brothers and sisters, thank you so much for your unflinching support for the Lord's work in Zimbabwe. May the Lord continue to bless your caring and loving hearts. What an honor it was for his older brother William to baptize him. We know that the parents of these young men, Jeff and Stephanie Birchmore, are thrilled with their sons and we as a congregation could not be more proud of these two Christian young men. May God bless Bryant as he begins his Christian life and may we as his new found brothers and sisters in Christ encourage him all that we can. Bryant, keep your eyes on Jesus...follow Him and Him alone. We are so thankful that the Birchmore family is a part of our family here at Rainbow. LaReda Buchanan responded to the Lord’s invitation on Sunday requesting our prayers as she strives to be the mother God has called her to be. We are so thankful for LaReda (and her son Joseph), let’s continue to honor her request and lift her up in prayer. Last week we honored (and roasted) our high school graduates, Corbin Parker, Raegan Holmes, and Stephanie Spitz-Keener. While these three deserve recognition for their accomplishments, we do not want to fail and mention other members of the Class of 2015. Rainbow Kindergarten & Childcare Our congratulations goes to this year’s graduates of the Rainbow Kindergarten & Childcare.
