Compensation and
Benefits
The current annual salary range for

$120,762. Placement within the stated

Overview of the
Position
This exempt position reports directly
to the Chief Financial Officer and will
oversee the risk management function,
including the general insurance
program, liability and vehicle physical

workers’ compensation program, and
the organization’s safety and security
compliance/training. The Risk Manager
will directly supervise up to three
Risk Management positions and will
carry out supervisory responsibilities
in accordance with the organization’s
policies and applicable laws.
Other key responsibilities of this
position include:
• Coordinates the purchase of
insurance, insurance brokerage
services, third party administration,
and other risk services as
necessary;
• Frequently interacts with the
Workers’ Compensation and
Liability third party administrator
(TPA) adjusters to manage claims
against the agency and control
costs; schedules and participates in
regular file review meetings;
• Implements the Agency’s insurance
programs which include, but are
not limited to, vehicle physical
damage, liability, property,
environmental, employment
