She has a BA in education, a BA in psychology, a MA in Mental Health Counseling and a MA in Marriage and Family Therapy. She made a presentation on "Community Mental Health Trends" along with what she does in her profession. As a counselor, she will go to the patient’s home which alleviates a lot of stress on the family. Abraham Lincoln Happy Events: Joe Minarik’s H/E was that he took his dog to the vet this past week and it only cost him $400. That was much better than Ken Bray who had to pay $600 last week for his cat. Ken Bray’s H/E was that he is going on vacation next week and will not be at the meeting. Dick Breske’s H/E was that he went fishing 60 miles out in the gulf with Dave Sideri and they had a great catch. It was a long and bumpy boat ride, but they did well. Jerry Wennlund’s H/E was for “How about those Rays”. Kevin Krauss paid $3. 1st he announced that our club foundation received $4000 from his friend Theresa for a matching grant on our Bowl-A-Thon. Second he wanted to thank Joe Minarik for fixing the slicer at Seminole Lanes. Last he and Mary Ann spent last Saturday with Cory at UCF for parent’s weekend. George Carter’s H/E was that he doesn’t have any pets. Phil Englands H/E was for the Rays and that the Lightning seasons start. Alex Courtney’s happy dollar was that he was Citizen of the Month at school. Don Vauiso paid a Happy $20 because he and Dale received word that they had become Alex’s official foster parents. Dave Sideri paid a happy dollar for the Rays / Bruins & the Rays / Red Sox. Tami Scheele was happy to be back from her vacation. Yvonne Fay paid $2 for the Rays doing so well and that her son has a job there. Kenny Krauss paid a happy dollar for the speaker attending this meeting. Tom Stewart’s H/E, “You don’t need to bother going to any more of the USF Bull’s games as they are horrendous!” Jerry Wennlund’s Fordham Rams are a good football team, they are 4-0 - Tom said “the Rams??? They could even beat USF!” Joe Minarik paid another Happy $1 for everyone who showed up at the Special Olympics. Over 650 Special Olympians & Volunteers were fed. Thank You for all those who participated. A Special Get Well Wish - Ken Bray let everyone know that his Club Buddy, Joe Kolodziej was just getting out of the hospital!
