The game time as shown on schedule is starting time. Please have players at the field at least 10 minutes before game time.
The coach whose team is in the field drops the balls in the machine for the batters, and will also call the outs on the bases.
No score is kept!
10 players are allowed on defense (6 in the infield - other 4 must be in outfield behind baseline) There is no penalty if you are playing with less than 10
players.
Inning will end at 3 outs or when a team scores 7 runs. To assure more innings please have kids hustle on and off the field
Batters are given 4 swings (there are no called strikes). If a batter fouls off the 4th swing, the batter continues to bat until they miss completely or they hit the
ball fair. If a hit ball strikes the pitching machine, it is a fair ball.
There are no walks, no stealing or leading off the base. Runner cannot advance until ball is hit.
There is no infield fly rule.
Only 1 base is allowed on an overthrow.
Free substitutions. If a player sits out on defense 1 inning, he/she must go in the next inning. Every player must play at least one half of the game on
defense.
The catcher’s mask shall be worn by the catcher.
Safety helmets shall be worn when batting and running bases.
To promote a clean environment at the fields, spectators, players, & coaches are reminded to pick up any garbage left by your team after each game.
