All entrants are included in the Lucky Draws. You must be present to claim a prize.
Note: Additional Lucky Draw prizes and raffles may be held at the discretion of the RBC or Wilson Fishing.
COMPETITION RULES:
1. Competition Hours: 11:00pm Thursday July 16, 2015 until 12:00 noon Sunday July 19,
2015.
2. Fish & Weigh In:
Only fish species displayed on the official entry forms are eligible to be weighed and each
fish must be within the Queensland Fisheries size limits to be accepted.
All fish may be subject to inspection by the Weigh Master. All fish weighed in by an entrant
must be caught by that entrant within the competition hours.
Fish may be weighed in whole only. No frozen or mutilated fish will be accepted. The
Weigh Master will weigh/measure all fish.
3. Winning Fish and Secret Weight Category:
* No individual fish will be eligible for more than one (1) prize.
* The winning fish in each category will be decided by weight (except for bream and whiting).
* For bream and whiting in the Adult Category, the longest fish over 40cm will count for
1st and 2nd places. Third (3rd) place will be determined by random draw from all remaining fish (bream and whiting) over 40cm.
* For bream and whiting in the Junior Category, the longest fish will count for 1st and 2nd
places. Third (3rd) place will be determined by secret weight.
* An angler can only win one (1) prize per species and can only weigh in two (2) fish per
species.
* Third (3rd) place will be by Secret Weight. Nearest to this weight (above or below) will
win.
* In the event of a tied weight or length, the first fish weighed/measured will win.
4. Weigh-in:
One official weigh-in will take place at the RBC Clubhouse at 1 William St Cleveland on
Sunday July 19, 2015 starting at 11:00am.
Note: All entrants weighing fish must be in line at the RBC Clubhouse with both their fish
and entry cards by 12:00 noon on Sunday July 19, 2015 to be eligible for any Fish Category.
Lucky Prize Draws will take place on Thursday night and Sunday with the major presentation taking place on Sunday after the completion of the weigh-in.
The presentation will be followed by the early entry and major Lucky Draw Prize draws.
5. Fishing Boundaries:
Fish taken from tidal lakes, saltwater impoundments or stocked impoundments will not be
accepted. Anglers may otherwise fish in any Australian waters open to the public within the
competition hours. All participants acknowledge that they are responsible for conforming
with all State, Territory and Federal legislation.
6. Entries and Fees:
Entry forms and fees must be lodged and paid for by 8:00pm on Thursday July 16, 2015.
Juniors must be younger than 14 years of age on July 16, 2015.
The RBC and Wilson Fishing reserves the right to invite special guests to enter. The RBC and
Wilson Fishing also reserve the right to refuse and or disqualify any entrant from entering
or taking any further part in the competition at its discretion. All decisions made by the
Redland Boat Club or Wilson Fishing will be final and no discussions or correspondence will
be entered into.

7. Liability:
All entrants compete at their own risk. The RBC, Wilson Fishing and its officials will not be
liable for any Damage, Loss or Injury incurred by the competitor, guests or visitor who is
participating in the competition. It remains the sole responsibility of each skipper, crew or
entrant to decide whether or not to commence, continue or fish in this competition.
All skippers must ensure they hold the appropriate licence to operate their vessel. Their
vessel must have current registration and full insurance cover.
8. Decisions:
In the event of any dispute, the matter will be referred to the RBC or Wilson Fishing and
any decisions or rulings made will be final and no discussions or correspondence will be
entered into.
9. ID Cards:
All entrants MUST collect the ID Card in person from the RBC Clubhouse on Thursday July
16, 2015 between 6:30pm and 8:00pm.
• Entrants must present their ID Cards to the Weigh Master prior
to the official weighing of their fish on Sunday July 19, 2015.
• All entrants collecting ANY prize must be present with their ID Card. NO ID Card – No
Prize.
