Dear Pool Member,
We are looking forward to a great summer at Reeds Community Swim Club! And we look forward to having you
back! Please note the following important updates regarding the 2015 Swim Season:
Membership Packages:
This season we are continuing membership prices for Family and Single Parent Family/Couple/Single for the same
price.
Family - $350.00
Single Parent (1) Family / Couple (2) - $300.00
Individual (1) Adult - $200.00
Swim Team ONLY - $100.00 - 2 or more $75.00 each
*Baby Sitter Fee - $50.00 (for any person that will be swimming while babysitting your children in your absence)
*Babysitter is defined as the caretaker in charge of the children when the parent(s) are not present.
A visitor fee must be paid if the babysitter is accompanying the children when parents are present.
New Memberships –
$300.00 + $50 stock fee = $350.00 for Family, Couple, Single Parent
$200.00 + $50 stock fee = $250.00 Individual Adult
Incentive: Members will be given 5 Guest passes if their dues are post marked by May 1st.
Upcoming Dates:
Please mark your calendars for the following important dates:
“Clean-up Day”: Saturday, April 11th beginning at 8:00am. All members are strongly encouraged to come out & help
get the pool ready for the upcoming season. We will have a picnic lunch. Bring a snack to share. Some useful tools
and supplies to bring would be pressure washer, water hose, rakes, shovels, donated flowers and soil, work gloves,
paint brushes, household cleaners, paper towels or anything you think can help ready the pool for opening day.

Visitor Days:
Guests may visit the pool any day of the week for $6.00 / person. Children two (2) years of age & under - $3.00.
Visitors are allowed to visit the pool any day with a current pool member.

In an effort to answer your questions promptly & efficiently, please call the pool at 336-787-5010 and leave a
message with any questions or concerns and a board member will return your call promptly. Through email and
Facebook we will provide updates regarding pool closings due to summer storms or scheduled events as much as
possible. Please make sure we have your correct email and updated information.
Job Opportunities:
The board is currently accepting applications for several staff positions. If you would like to submit an application,
please contact a board member or email us at [email protected] for more information. Managers
must be certified for pool management and be able to provide proof of completion of the Certified Pool Operator
(CPO) course and CPR/First Aid certifications. Other requirements for managers include the ability to supervise and
communicate effectively, yet respectfully with staff and pool members. Applications for the Manager are due no
later than April 15th. Applications for lifeguards are due no later than May 1st.
Swim-Team Opportunities:
The Reeds Swim Team, Reeds Aqua-Dragons, offers great learning, fun, and exercise to children. Swim Team
Fees for members are $20.00/child and $30.00/two children or more. Swim Team Membership ONLY is $100.00.
Sign-ups will be held the first weekend the pool is open. Practices will start on May 23rd. The first meet is usually
mid-June. During swim team practice times the 4ft & 5ft sections will be closed.
Swim team will practice the following times:
Monday-Thursday 11:00am - 12:00pm; 6:30-7:00pm New Swimmers; 7:00-8:00pm Experienced Swimmers
Saturday 10:00am-11:00am.
Private Parties:
Reeds Community Swim Club can be rented for private parties on Saturday and Sunday evenings for a two (2) hour
time slot. The Rental Fee cost is as follows:
$175 for members (up to 75 guest)
$225 for non-members (up to 75 guest)
$200 for members (75-100 guest)
$250 for non-members (75-100 guest)
$225 for members (100-125 guest)
$275 for non-members (100-125 guest)
Please see a pool manager for availability. No alcoholic beverages.
Fun-Days: We hope to have some family fun events this summer so be on the lookout for a Memorial Day Social,
School’s Out Party.
