Olympic Development Program Region II 2015 ID CAMPS

Olympic Development Program Region II
2015 ID CAMPS
Information for Players, Parents and State Offices
At the conclusion of the ODP Showcase, with the exception of Developmental camps, approximately 50
players (for ’98s, ‘99s and 00s) and 60 players (for ’01s and ’02s) will be selected to remain and
participate in the age group ID camps. The two main purposes for the ID camp are to provide higher level
training and to aid in the selection of players for regional team domestic and international events.
The player pool lists will be announced immediately following the final games and will be posted online.
State team coaches must inform a regional age group administrator the night prior to the final day of the
ODP Showcase about players who may not be able to stay for the ID camp if selected. Parents will
be notified of selection by their own child or the state team coach and/or designee.
The pool training camp fee is $500 for the five (5) day ID camps. Checks should be made payable to US
Youth Soccer Region II ODP. Credit card payments will be $515. An online registration/payment method
will be made available for your convenience. If your respective State Association does not pay for ID
camps, parents must remit payment via check or credit card PRIOR to the ID camps in order for
their son/daughter to participate. Contact your state office for further details.
To those parents whose players have been selected to participate in the ID camp, the following will give
you more specific information regarding some of the camp program details.

COMMUNICATION
We ask that any communication between you and your player be either by cell phone or a phone calling
card. In the case of emergency with your player, we will refer to the phone numbers provided in the
regional camp documents and contact you immediately. If you have a family emergency, you may either
contact your player by cell phone or contact the front desk of the hotel where the players have been
assigned. They will then forward the call to the player’s room.
TRANSPORTATION
It is the responsibility of each family to make arrangements for transporting their player home at the end
of ID camp. If there is an overlapping Development camp that is concluding the same day and time as
the ID camp, players may have an option of riding their state bus home IF the state provides
transportation. Parents will need to contact their ODP State Administrator and/or State Office to make
such arrangements. Players are expected to be released by 12:00 PM on Thursday, July 16th. All
transportation details must be communicated to the age group administrator by 12:00 PM on Tuesday,
July 14th. Please be certain to confirm any age requirements for your players when making alternate
travel arrangements. Region II is unable to assist in transporting players.
