VICTRIX Superior 24-32 kW
Condensing, sealed chamber suspended
boiler for central heating and instantaneous
production of domestic hot water equipped
with AQUA CELERIS system.
VICTRIX Superior 24 kW
VICTRIX Superior 32 kW
General specifications.
VICTRIX Superior kW is a wall-hung instantaneous, sealed
chamber, fan assisted generator, (type C) for central heating
and the instantaneous production of domestic hot water.
The VICTRIX Superior kW series boilers are type-approved
for installation outside of the building in a partially protected
place.
N.B.: a partially protected place is where the appliance is not
exposed to the direct action of weather (rain, snow, hail etc..).
The boiler can also be installed in B23 configuration using the
appropriate kit (optional).
The appliance is available with useful heat output of 24 kW (26
kW in D.H.W mode) and 32 kW, which, thanks to condensing
technology, distinguishes itself due to its high efficiency and
large field of modulation (from 20 % to100 % of the nominal
heat output).
The boiler has a total premix combustion system that
guarantees particularly reduced pollutant emissions and allows
functioning with natural gas or LPG.
Adjustment and control are entrusted to a P.C.B. with micro
processor with continuous flame modulation by means of 4
sensors ( 2 D.H.W. and 2 C.H.).
The new electronics allow connection of the appliance
to the Comando Amico Remoto remote control and to
the Super Comando Amico Remoto remote control; both
allow to manage, control the boiler at a distance with extreme
simplicity. Moreover, the Super CAR remote control allows the
display of the relative humidity of the room and the envisioned
weather forecast.
STVSkW ed 04/08
Disp.Non-Stop: 0729.983.578
Using the Super CAR it is possible to indifferently vary some
settings both from the boiler control panel of the Super
CAR such as: Summer Winter selection, Aqua Celeris status,
D.H.W. set point, Reset, etc...
The boiler has an anti-freeze safety device as per standard
that protects it to a minimum temperature of -3°C (optional
to -15°C).
The VICTRIX Superior kW boilers are the distinguished
due to the "Aqua Celeris” system, which drastically reduces
distribution stand-by times of domestic hot water and for
the hydraulic unit that guarantees high performance, thanks
to the new electronically-controlled D.H.W. flow rate
regulator: it guarantees abundant production of domestic
hot water at the temperature desired by the user.
The hydraulic circuit is equipped with one water-gas heat
exchanger with STAINLESS STEEL coil and uses the hydraulic
unit in composite material on which, as well as the pump and
the electric 3-way valve, which according to necessity, allows
the circulation of boiler water in the central heating plant or
in a stainless steel plate heat exchanger for the instantaneous
production of domestic hot water, also the hydraulic circuit
control devices are housed (absolute system pressure switch, 3
bar safety valve, system adjustable by-pass, etc...).
The boiler functioning parameters are set using buttons and
knobs while the display of the state, the functioning mode and
anomalies, takes place using a digital back-lit display.

Primary circuit (boiler circuit).
This depends on the position of the motorised 3-way valve (35),
which, at rest, allows flow towards the D.H.W. heat exchanger
(6), while following a central heating request it causes diversion
towards the system flow (M) and return (R) pipes.
The primary circuit with relative control and safety devices is
put into operation every time there is a heating or domestic
hot water request.
Operation (see VICTRIX Superior kW
hydraulic layout).
Flow rate-head graph.
The progress of the curve that represents the flow rate-head
relationship available to the plant, depends on the operation
speed of the pump and adjustment of the system by-pass which,
according to the position, allows to set greater or less head on
the system. The graph below shows the characteristic curves.
The heat contained in the fumes produced by combustion is
absorbed by the pipes of the water-gas primary heat exchanger
with coil inserted into the condensation module (17), which
in turn surrenders it to the water made to circulate inside it
by the boiler pump (33). The water is introduced directly into
the system or can be diverted into the instantaneous plate heat
exchanger (6) in STAINLESS STEEL.

Boiler pump (1).
Operates on the primary circuit return immediately after
the three-way valve to which it is connected. It is part of the
integrated multi-functions realised in composite material.
The pump leaves the factory with the speed set at "AUTO".
This means that the pump functions at three variable speeds
in a way to keep the temperature difference between delivery
and return constant.
There is a seat on the body in which the automatic vent valve
is housed (2).
2
Primary heat exchanger
(condensation module).
1
It is formed by a casing that contains 4 (24 kW version) and 5
(32 kW version) coiled elements.
Each element is made up from 5 elliptical spirals(3).
The entire module is realised in stainless steel and its internal
part makes up the sealed combustion chamber and the
condensation chamber (2).
VICTRIX Superior 24 kW.
The first three elements are affected directly by the action of
the cylindrical burner applied to the front, while the fourth is
arranged in the condensation chamber, which is separated from
the combustion chamber by sheet steel (see flue circuit).
To reduce head losses to a minimum and increase the flow rate
available to the system, the flow is made up from the parallel
connection of the first two elements, the return, instead is made
up from the parallel connection of the last two elements.
VICTRIX Superior 32 kW.
The first four elements are affected directly by the action of
the cylindrical burner applied tot he front, while the fifth is
in the condensation chamber , which is separated from the
combustion chamber by sheet steel (see flue circuit).
To reduce head losses to a minimum and increase the flow
rate available to the system, the flow is made up from the
parallel connection of the first three elements. The return,
instead is made up from the parallel connection of the last
two elements.
For both versions, the heat exchanger inlet is connected to
the pump flow and the outlet, on which the NTC central
heating probe is positioned (1), is connected to the primary
circuit flow.
The primary circuit is coupled to the flow and return pipes
using threaded fittings with flat gasket.
The flue hood (4) is connected to the rear using a relevant
gasket blocked by a metal ring.
The condensate drain is also found in the lower part.
To ease the escape of any air bubbles still present in the coils,
there is a manual air vent in the upper part of the module
(5).

Motorised three-way valve for combi versions.
It is an electric three-way valve operating on the return of he
primary circuit that allows, according to request domestic hot
water or central heating), to introduce the boiler water into
the D.H.W. heat exchanger (plate).
This depends on the position of the shutter (5) which, closes
the passage towards the system opening it towards D.H.W. heat
exchanger (D.H.W. position) or vice versa (C.H. position).
The shutter is shifted (5) into both positions by powering the
motor (1).
The hydraulic part is made up of a unit in composite material
(2) that also integrates the pump and is put into action
thanks to a motor (1) that causes the movement according
to necessity.
Pump
flow
2
Operation.
When the central heating or domestic hot water position
must be reached, the motor (1) is activated by the integrated
P.C.B.
The operation of the motor leads, at each rotation of 180º,
to the movement of the shutter (5) and compresses (central
heating position) or leaves to vent (domestic hot water position)
the shutter contrast spring (4).
Both the spring (4) and the shutter (5) are situated inside the
three-way cartridge (3).
The hydraulic arrival of the position requested, alternatively
causes the opening and closing of one of the two limit microswitches (6) organised inside the motor box (1).
This allows to remove the voltage from the motor, blocking it
in the position reached and to enable operation of the motor
only in presence of a different request (domestic hot water or
central heating signal).

Secondary circuit (D.H.W. circuit) for combi versions.
Operation.
A D.H.W. withdrawal leads to the passage of cold water inside
the flow rate regulator (1) and the D.H.W. flow meter (2) that
sends a signal to the P.C.B. (see electric circuit).
Following this, the integrated P.C.B. starts the priority D.H.W.
operation phase, which leads to burner ignition and, whenever
a central heating request is in progress, the diversion of the
3-way valve (8) and its consequent shifting to the work position
(see hydraulic 3-way valve operation).
This leads to the closure of the return pipe (R) and the
simultaneous opening of the passage towards the D.H.W.
heat exchanger (3).
In this way, circulation in the central heating system is
prevented, while it is allowed inside the D.H.W. heat
exchanger.
At the outlet of the plate heat exchanger, the water in the
primary circuit is made to flow inside the Aqua Celeris tank
(5) which is heated by the PTC resistance (4).
In this way the cold domestic water is pre-heated before passing
inside the plate heat exchanger where it further absorbs the
heat contained in the water of the primary circuit (see D.H.W.
heat exchanger). This allows to take the D.H.W. quickly to
temperature at the time of withdrawal, thus drastically reducing
stand-by times.
In this phase, the central heating phases is excluded, over which
D.H.W. production has priority.
The water/water heat exchange takes place inside the D.H.W.
heat exchanger (3), which is fixed using screws to the D.H.W.
outlet body (1) and to the D.H.W. inlet body (2).
The top part of the left body allows the inlet of flow water of
the primary circuit, while in the lower part it allows the outlet
of the D.H.W.
In the same way the top part of the right body allows the inlet
of domestic cold water and in the lower part the return of the
primary circuit.
On the D.H.W. outlet body (1) there is the D.H.W. probe (4),
which allows the integrated P.C.B. to detect the temperature
of the D.H.W.

Aqua Celeris device.
It is a polystyrene-insulated tank with capacity of 4 litres that
has been expressly designed to lower hot water distribution
times.
It contains both boiler circuits (primary and secondary).
There are four fittings in the lower part (inlet and outlet of the
various circuits), of which two 3/4"G threaded fittings with
gasket sealing, on which flow and return of the primary circuit
takes place, and two push-fitting fittings with O.R. sealing
blocked by relevant staples, which allow inlet and outlet of
the domestic hot water.
The lower part is also the seat for the PTC electric resistance
(8).
From the fitting (7) the water coming from the plate heat
exchanger is introduced into the tank.
From the probe pipe (5)the water inside the tank is sucked up
by the depression created by the operation of the boiler pump
and sent back to the primary heat exchanger.
By means of the pipe (4) the domestic hot water enters cold
to then be pre-heated before entering the D.H.W. plate heat
exchanger.
At the end of the withdrawal, the water it contains is kept at
temperature by a relevant timed electric PTC resistance (8),
which supplies the water with the heat strictly necessary to
restore the losses due to heat loss.
A manual vent valve (6) is present in the upper part. Operate
on this to expel any gaseous substances present in the primary
circuit.

D.H.W. flow meter (1).
When faced with a withdrawal of D.H.W. with a flow rate
of at least 2.0 l/min, the D.H.W. flow meter (1) enables the
boiler for operation in D.H.W. mode.
This takes place by means of a rotating magnetic sensor which,
by rotating when hit by the flow of domestic cold water, sends
a positive square wave signal, which allows the integrated P.C.B
to start the priority D.H.W. operation mode.
D.H.W. flow rate regulator (2).
The boiler has a D.H.W. flow rate regulator (2) that varies the

allow to reach the set-point set by the user on the basis of the
temperature of the inlet water detected by the inlet NTC probe

Air-gas circuit.
Gas valve.
The gas valve is equipped with two main coils controlled by
the electric circuit and with a pneumatic unit that modulates
the outlet gas pressure in 1:1 ratio to the pressure (P1) detected
on the inlet of the Venturi pipe.
The calibration of the ratio between the air and gas pressures
are carried out on the valve (off-set) (see gas regulations).
Electrical coils (4).
There are two ON-OFF coils that are powered (24 V DC) by
an integrated P.C.B. when the burner must be ignited.
They are connected in series and powered at 24 V through a
connector (3).
Pneumatic unit (2).
Allows to vary the outlet pressure in 1:1 ratio with the pressure
(P1) detected at the inlet of the Venturi pipe that is taken back
to the valve using a small silicone pipe (1).
Thanks to this system, the percentages in the air-gas mixture
are maintained constant at optimal values on the entire range
of modulation, thus guaranteeing a more or less constant
combustion efficiency.
The air-gas ratio calibration can be performed using the off-set
adjusting screw (2).
This is necessary only when, after having performed flue
analysis, incorrect combustion parameter values are detected
(see air-gas ratio regulation).
The circuit consists of a total premix combustion system composed of a fan (5), a pneumatic gas valve (7), a Venturi pipe
(3) and a special cylindrical burner (8) that operates inside the
condensation module.
Operation.
The fan (5) is controlled by the integrated P.C.B. that varies
its speed depending on the output requested.
Its operation allows to withdraw combustion agent air from
outside of the sealed chamber and introduce it into a pipe
where a Venturi pipe is inserted (3).
At the inlet to the Venturi (3)there is a positive pressure signal
(P1) variable in a directly proportional manner to the amount
of air taken in by the fan (5) and which is detected by a pressure
point connected to the pneumatic gas valve (7).
The electric power supply of the valve main coils causes both
internal shutters to open and allows the passage of gas, whose
outlet pressure is regulated by the same pneumatic valve in a
1:1 ratio to pressure “P1”.
The gas is injected at the entry of the Venturi pipes (3) through
a nozzle (4), where the premix starts with the combustion
agent air.
The mixture obtained in this way is ignited on the surface
of the cylindrical burner (8) by the discharge of the ignition
electrodes (9).

Fan.
Operates upstream from the combustion chamber and is
positioned under the condensation module.
It is controlled by the integrated P.C.B. with a positive square
wave signal with variable ON-OFF ratio (duty-cycle).
Its speed is adjusted (from about 1100 to about 5100 rpm)
depending on the power requested and is controlled using a
sensor with Hall effect, which detects the number of revs.
The fan withdraws the combustion agent air in the upper
part of the sealed chamber through a plastic pipe (1), which
contributes to reducing the noise and optimises burner
ignition.
The variation of the air flow rate that is introduced into the
mixing pipe, leads to the change of the pressure signal (P1) at
the inlet of the Venturi pipe and allows the pneumatic valve
to regulate the pressure of the outlet gas.
1
Venturi.
The Venturi pipe (1) is inserted into a sealed pipe, inside which
the combustion agent air and the gas are mixed.
The air is introduced by the fan in the lower area of the pipe,
while the gas exiting the valve is injected by a nozzle (2) in
correspondence with the Venturi pipe inlet (1).
The passage of air in the pipe creates a depression (“Venturi
effect”) which, through the 4 holes (3) present at its base, allow
to “drag” the gas inside and to mix it with the air.
The nozzle (2) has a different diameter depending on whether
natural gas or LPG is used as, working with both gases with
more or less constant pressure, its section establishes the correct
gas flow rate.
There are two pressure points at the ends of the Venturi pipe,
used to detect the inlet (P1) and outlet (P2) signals.
Using two small silicon pipes, these signals are taken respectively
to the pneumatic gas valve, which must regulate the gas pressure
and to the negative pressure point (P2) arranged in the upper
part of the sealed chamber.
4
AIR
Burner.
It is a cylindrical burner (5) made up from 2 concentric sheet
steel sections, appropriately perforated and built using a
special steel that is particularly resistent to high temperatures
and corrosion.
It is inserted inside the condensation module, in a sealed
combustion chamber closed by a flange (4) onto which the
burner is fixed, which in the meantime guarantees its direct
connection to the air-gas mixing pipe (6).
The premixing, the lack of secondary air and the construction
features of the burner ensure high combustion efficiency and
particularly reduced pollutant emissions (see technical data
regarding the model).
The material's high resistance to temperature, allows to work
with a very low flame to a minimum power of:
VICTRIX Superior 24 kW = 4.7 kW (4.042 kcal/h) (20 %
of the heat output).
VICTRIX Superior 32 kW = 6.4 kW (5.504 kcal/h) (20 %
of the heat output).
Ignition takes place by means of an integrated P.C.B. that
controls the ignition (7) and detection electrodes (9).

directly to earth (blind electrode).
They are positioned on the right side of the burner and fixed

It also acts as a flue safety device when any air intake problems
or problems with the evacuation of combustion products make

Air-gas adjustments.
The calibration of the total premix combustion system, when
necessary envisions, the adjustment of the nominal heat output
and the air-gas ratio (off-set).
The two operations are only normally requested after a gas
transformation, after extraordinary maintenance (replacement
of a component of the air-gas circuit, replacement of the integrated
P.C.B. etc.) or when the appliance is not calibrated.
N.B.: The nominal output must also be adjusted during
the initial check.
Adjustment of nominal and minimum heat
output.
The availability of maximum output is linked to the length of
the intake and exhaust pipes which, increasing, slightly reduces
the amount (flow rate) of inlet air and consequently also la
pressure of the burnt gas.
The boiler is calibrated as per standard for operation with a
Ø60/100 horizontal concentric kit with length of 1m and
therefore the use of the flue kit with greater head losses requires
a check and possible adjustment of the nominal output.

Regulation of the air-gas ratio (off-set).
The correct regulation of the air-gas ratio (1:1) takes place
in the factory and must only be re-touched when carbon

With this scope, during the initial check or following
extraordinary maintenance interventions, flue analysis
must be performed at maximum heat output and minimum
heat output, which attests the goodness of the combustion in

Gas transformation.
The adaptation to the type of gas different to that for which
the boilers are prepared as per standard is performed using the
relevant kit (methane or LPG).
The transformation consists in the replacement of the burner
nozzles positioned in correspondence with the inlet of the

(see nominal and minimum heat output regulation).
Finally, check the carbon dioxide value (CO2) at maximum
and minimum power output, which must be corrected if
necessary by regulating the off-set signal (see air-gas ration
regulation.
To carry out the control correctly and, if necessary, regulate
the air-gas ratio, proceed as follow:

- if the values are incorrect, take them within the limits by
acting on the off-set adjusting screws (3) of the gas valve.
By turning in a clockwise direction the CO2 value increases,
by turning in an anti-clockwise direction, it decreases.

Operation.
The operation of the fan positioned at the entry of the air-gas
mixing pipe, guarantees the fan-assisted expulsion of the fumes
produced by combustion.
These directly hit the first 3 (24 kW) or 4 (32 kW) elements of
the primary heat exchanger inserted in the sealed combustion
chamber (6) which has a sheet steel section on its base (7) that
divides it from the condensation chamber (2) and diverts the
flow of fumes to the outside of the module.
In this way the flue gases, before entering the condensation
chamber(2), hit the 4th (24 kW) or 5th (32 kW) element (3)
of the heat exchanger inside which primary circuit return
water runs.
This cools the combustion products further and makes their
condensation easier before escape from the flue hood (1).
The water condensate formed inside the heat exchanger, in
the flue hood and also in the evacuation pipes flows into the
lower part of the module from where, before being discharged,
is conveyed into a siphon (4). Any water formed in the intake
pipes is collected in a valley gutter (13) and by means of a
silicone pipe (10) is conveyed into the siphon (4) to then be
drained away.
4
11
A flue safety thermostat is inserted onto the condensation
module (12), to protect the flue hood (1) and which intervenes
when the temperature detected on the condensation module
exceeds110 °C.
Condensate drain trap (4).
Collects the condensate that forms during boiler operation
from the bottom of the module.
Its outlet is connected to the draining pipe (11) towards which
the passage of water is allowed but not the passage of fumes,
which could occur following obstruction of the evacuation
pipes.
The height of the column of water in the siphon is in fact
greater than the pressure detected inside the sealed chamber
(module) with the fan at maximum speed and the evacuation
pipes blocked at operation limits.
This, however, prevents the draining of combustion products
into the sewers.
On commissioning fumes may escape from the exhaust pipe
(11) which disappear after a few minutes of operation when
the condensate has reached a sufficient height. If this should
take too long, fill the siphon with water manually (4).
Flue hood (1).
It is connected to the rear part of the condensation module
and conveys the combustion products towards the drain fitting
present in the upper part of the appliance.
It is affected by the passage of fumes and water condensate
formed inside it or in the exhaust pipes.
It is constructed in plastic, resistant to the corrosive effects of
the condensate and can work to a temperature of 130 °C (max.
flue temp with flow 85 °C = 78 °C).

to the appropriate push-fitting intake/exhaust pipes and can
be installed inside the home or outside the home or outside
of the home (in a partially protected place) in the following
configurations:
Outdoor (in partially protected place):
- sealed chamber and fan-assisted with direct intake (type C)
using a compulsory upper cover kit (optional);
- with sealed chamber and fan-assisted (type C) using the
vertical or horizontal concentric kits, keeping the lateral
caps, without the obligation to use the upper cover kit.
Indoor:
- open chamber and fan-assisted (type B23) using a compulsory
upper cover kit (optional);
- sealed chamber and fan-assisted (type C) using the vertical
or horizontal concentric kits or the Ø80/80 separator kit.
For that regarding the head losses relative to each accessory,
for the various combinations that can be performed, see the
instructions relative to the intake and exhaust terminals
(boiler instruction book).
The generators with condensation technology must be installed
using the specific series of intake and exhaust pipes, which has
been designed to be coupled exclusively to the Immergas
condensing boiler.
The “GREEN SERIES” flue kit is made in plastic (PPS = selfextinguishing polypropylene) suitable for resisting the corrosive
action of the acid condensate.

The use of the appropriate accessories allows horizontal (A) or
vertical (B) draining.
To prevent condensate problems, the exhaust pipe must be
limited to 30 straight metres.
Sealed chamber and fan-assisted configuration
with direct intake (type C) for installation
outdoors in a partially protected place (see
figure at the side).
Open chamber and fan-assisted configuration
(type B23) for indoor installation (see figure
above).
Using an appropriate cover (1) to be positioned on the upper
part of the sealed chamber, the boiler can be installed outdoors
in a partially protected place.
The previously-described cover kit is used.
By removing the lateral caps (3) present in the upper part of
the sealed chamber, intake takes place directly from the room
in which the boiler is installed.
Flue exhaust takes place through special pipes with a diameter
of 80 in an individual flue or directly to the outside.
Intake.
Mounting of the cover (1) envisions the removal of the two
caps (3) closing the holes present in the upper part of the
sealed chamber.
The intake of combustion agent air takes place directly from the
environment making use of the free space between the lower
part of the cover (1) and the upper part of the boiler.
Exhaust.
The connection to the exhaust pipes with diameter of 80 mm
is obtained using the flange (2) used in the divided systems.

Sealed chamber and fan-assisted configuration
(type C).
Exhaust.
The connection to the exhaust pipes takes place using a flange
(1) or a flanged curve to attach to the fitting (4) present on the
upper part of the sealed chamber by placing a shaped gasket
between them (6).
The flange differs depending whether the divided or concentric
system is used.
In the first case the passage for combustion agent air intake
(5) is closed while it is used in the second case.
Intake.
Using the divided system, the connection to the intake pipes
takes place in a similar way to the exhaust pipes, as they are
connected to the hole with diameter of 80 mm (2) present in
the upper part of the sealed chamber.
The hole that is not used remains closed using one on the
appropriate caps (3) with which the boilers are supplied.
If coaxial pipes are used, intake of the combustion agent air
takes place using the concentric hole outside of the exhaust
fitting (5).
Intake and exhaust kit.
The kits with relative accessories allow the use of two concentric
systems, one divided system and two specific systems for
ducting(Ø 60 rigid or Ø 80 flexible).
For that regarding head losses relative to each accessory, for
the various combinations that can be carried out, follow the
instructions relative to the intake and exhaust terminals
(see boiler instructions book).
The coupling of the accessories (curves, extensions, terminals)
is push-fitting type and sealing is ensured by the lip seals in
EPDM peroxide resistent to the action of the condensate.

system pressure switch (S5) is closed (pressure detected in the
primary circuit exceeds the minimum value), using the relay
K2, the integrated P.C.B. powers the boiler pump (M1) at
maximum speed using relay K5, after which by diversion of
the contact of relay K4 it powers the motor (M) of the 3-way
valve (M30). This functions until the limit switch "3" opens
when the D.H.W. position has been reached.
When the flame has been detected the fan speed is increased
a way to immediately reach (if requested) the maximum value
regulated or however necessary to reach the set temperature.
Successively, flame modulation takes place with reference to
the difference between the temperature set using the D.H.W.
temperature selector sand that detected using the D.H.W.
probe (B2).
When the temperature measured by the D.H.W probe (B2)
exceeds the requested value (set temperature), the contact of
relay K3 is opened (burner switch-off) and after the postoperation time also relay K2 (pump). In the meantime the fan
functions and performs a post-ventilation.
When the temperature of the D.H.W. contained in the storage
tank falls below the defined value and can be set with the
"DHW OFF" parameter with respect to the temperature by
the D.H.W. temperature selector, the relays are closed again
in order to start a new ignition cycle.
If during operation, the C.H flow probe (B1) measures a temperature exceeding 90 °C, the contact of relay K3 is opened
(burner switch-off), which is closed when the temperature falls
below 75 °C.
D.H.W. request for instantaneous boilers.
Following a D.H.W. withdrawal of at least 2.0 l/min, the
burner ignites in the same way as in the C.H. mode.
When the flame has been detected the fan speed is increased in
a way to immediately reach (if requested) the maximum value
regulated or however necessary to reach the set temperature.
Successively, flame modulation takes place with reference to
the difference between the temperature set using the D.H.W.
temperature selector sand that detected using the D.H.W.
probe (B2).
When the set value is exceeded, the burner functions at minimum power and switches off (opening of the contact of relay K3)
only when the D.H.W. probe (B2) measures a temperature
exceeding 65 °C (factory setting with fixed D.H.W. set-point
"OFF2*").
By acting on the "D.H.W. OFF*" parameter it is possible
to set the boiler until on exceeding (+5°C) the set value the
contact of relay K3 is opened. This is closed again as soon
as the temperature falls (+4°C) (correlated D.H.W. set-point
"OFF1*").
If during operation the C.H. flow probe (B1) measures a
temperature exceeding 80 °C, fan speed is decreased and
regulated in order to maintain a flow temperature of 80 °C.
If this exceeds 90 °C, the contact of relay K3 is opened, which
is only closed again when the temperature falls below 80 °C.
Whenever the Aqua Celeris function is activated and after every
D.H.W. withdrawal, in order to keep the water contained in
the in Aqua Celeris tank at temperature, if necessary the boiler,
continues to function in D.H.W. mode at minimum power
depending on the temperature set in D.H.W. mode:
With request in D.H.W. mode up to a temperature of 55 °C,
the flow temperature reaches the maximum temperature of
60 °C.
With request in D.H.W. mode above 55 °C, the flow temperature
reaches the maximum temperature of 75 °C.
At this point the burner switches off and the boiler, remaining
in the D.H.W. mode, carries out a post-circulation with
duration of 20 seconds.
In order to keep the water contained in the in Aqua Celeris
tank at temperature, by means of relay K1, the resistance
(E11) is powered for a pre-established time in minutes and
depending on the regulation value in D.H.W. mode (example:

Solar function.
System deaeration function.
With the “DHW OFF” parameter set on “OFF1” (correlated
D.H.W. set-point), the boiler is prepared to receive preheated water from a system of solar panels up to a maximum
temperature of 65 °C.
In the case of use with higher temperatures it is recommended
to install a mixing valve on the hydraulic circuit upstream
from the boiler.
When the water entering the boiler is at the same temperature
as that set by the D.H.W. temperature selector (D.H.W. setpoint -3°C), the burner and the pump are switched off.
The boiler is kept in D.H.W. mode, shown on the display.
The boiler will exit the solar mode at the end of the active
withdrawal or when the temperature falls (-4°C) with respect
to that set by the D.H.W. selector.
To activate the “AIR PURGE” function press buttons A and
B at the same time for 5 seconds with the boiler in stand-by.
The function consists in the cyclical activation of the pump
(100 s ON, 20 s OFF) and the 3-way valve (120 s D.H.W.,
120 s C.H.).
The function ends after 18 hours or by igniting the boiler using
the main ignition button ( ).
* see integrated P.C.B. programming.
Central heating anti-freeze request.
When the temperature detected by the C.H. flow probe (B1)
falls below 4 °C, the board gives consent for ignition and

If the temperature detected by the D.H.W. probe (B2) falls
below 4 °C, the board gives consent for the ignition of the
boiler and keeps the generator operation with the burner at
minimum heat output until a temperature of 20 °C is reached,
then a post-circulation is activated in the central heating mode
with duration150 seconds.
During operation the water in the primary circuit stays below
42 °C as on reaching this temperature the P.C.B. switches the
burner off.
If the D.H.W. anti-freeze function is activated in concomitance
with a C.H. request, alternately (in continuous mode) the
D.H.W anti-freeze is served for 2 minutes and the C.H. request
for 6.5 minutes.
“Chimney sweep” request.
By pressing button "C" Reset for a period of time between
8 and 15 seconds, on its release the P.C.B gives consent for
ignition of the generator and keeps it operating at maximum
heat output set for 15 minutes.
During this period of time only limit thermostat operation
is respected (90 °C), which is carried out using the central
heating flow probe (B1).
The function is indicated by the relative symbol and the
code"07" on the Remote Control display (if mounted).
It can be interrupted by pressing the main switch ( ) in the

P67.2
(INTERMIT)
In winter mode the pump is managed by the room thermostat or by
remote control and by the boiler flow probe
The boiler is set to ignite the burner immediately after a room heating
request. In the case of particular systems (e.g. zone systems with motorised
valves etc.) it could be necessary to delay ignition.
The boiler has an electronic timer that prevents frequent ignition of the
burner in the central heating mode
The boiler carries out an ignition ramp to arrive from minimum heat
output to nominal heat output
“Correlated” D.H.W. OFF, boiler switch-off takes place on the basis
of the temperature set using the D.H.W. adjustment selector. Solar
function active, if the inlet D.H.W. is at sufficient temperature, the
boiler does not switch on
“Fixed” D.H.W. OF, boiler switch-off takes plac fixed at 65°C.

VICTRIX Superior kW troubleshooting.
Before every intervention:
Check that gas, water and electricity are connectedly correctly
to the boiler, according to that indicated in the plate data and
instruction manual.
Also check that:
- the gas valve and the boiler parameters are correctly
adjusted;
- any devices outside the boiler function and are appropriately
adjusted;
- internal and external fuses are integral.
Before a maintenance intervention or replacement of
components, remove the electric power supply upstream from
the appliance.
For correct use of the trouble shooting table, on intervention it
is recommended to press the Reset button, switch the boiler off
using the main switch and remove voltage from the appliance
for at least 5 seconds.
This is to allow the boiler to start a new ignition cycle.
