65FS Series
Field-Mounted Indicating Milliammeters
The Foxboro® brand 65FS Series Field-Mounted dc Milliammeters have a range of 4 to 20 mA or 10 to
50 mA. They are normally installed in controller input loops to monitor measurement signals. However, they
may be used in any application where the current range is adequate.
MODELS 65FS-**HB AND **JB
SURFACE-MOUNTED MILLIAMMETERS
These instruments are used for surface-mounted
applications. The indicating meter plugs into a
phenolic socket which is mounted in an intrinsically
safe or explosionproof housing. They are standard
with either a 0 to 100 uniform scale, 0 to 100 square
root scale, or 0 to 10 square root scale. The
instruments are thermally compensated by an
internally mounted resistor-thermistor network.
An appropriate precision resistor wired to the
phenolic socket converts the 4 to 20 or 10 to 50 mA
input signal to 99 to 494 mV.
These instruments have been designed to be both
explosionproof and weatherproof. They are also
available for use in ordinary, hazardous, and
intrinsically safe locations.
