top 10 tourist attractions, The Foxton Locks Inn &
The Old Boathouse are popular venues for birthday
parties, family gatherings, celebrations, weddings,
conferences and meetings.

The Old Boathouse
Converted from a former Victorian barge renovation
yard, The Old Boathouse retains much of its original
charm and character. Totally self-contained, a
covered terrace overlooking the water opens up
(weather permitting) to offer your guests extra
outdoor space and delightful views across the canal
basin, bridges and surrounding countryside.

30 fully seated - 50 for a buffet.

The Terrace
The stunning newly built terrace - complete with
floor to ceiling glass windows - offers spectacular
year round views of the surrounding countryside.
With its underfloor heating and air conditioning,
whatever the weather outside, it is always a
comfortable temperature inside.

Now for larger events, you can do just that. Perfect
for events of 100 people upwards, you can have
full access to all parts of the bar and the newly
refurbished Terrace with its spectacular views. Use
of the whole venue is subject to availability, public
holidays etc.

By special request – funeral catering
The Old Boathouse is a beautiful setting to say goodbye
to a loved one.
Organising a funeral can be a difficult time, so allow our catering team to
take at least some of the stress out of a difficult occasion. Our aim is to
give you a sympathetic and personalised service during the day.
Under these circumstances we are able to work at short notice; all we
need is for you to confirm your menu option and an idea of the number of
people that you are expecting 48 hours before the event.
We always make sure that our buffets are generous, and we will be on
standby to ensure that if unexpected guests arrive, there will be enough
for everyone.
Facilities include:

The Waterfront Restaurant is a fine dining venue in Market Harborough.
Nestled in the basin at Union Wharf, it enjoys impressive views of the canal
and boats.
The inside is contemporary and comfortable with an open plan dining room
on the ground floor which can comfortably seat 65 people, and a second
dining area upstairs. In the summer months, there is the opportunity to eat
outside under the parasols at the water’s edge and take in the views.
The Waterfront is open all day, every day throughout the year with food
served every day.
The Waterfront is also available for private hire – either the upstairs area or
the entire restaurant (subject to availability).
