3-Way Call Script (Following MJ Durkin) It is often difficult for a new consultant to invite their friends to their Grand Opening. Friends tend to ask questions to the new consultant that the new consultant does not know how to answer. It is therefore easier if the calls are made by the sponsor who can field questions. Before every call, the new consultant shares some key points about the person you are calling. (How do they know them, age, demographic, family life, etc. We recommend writing it down so you can reference it during the call!) New Consultant: Hi (Name of Prospect). Do you have a minute to talk? (If they do ...) New Consultant: Listen, as you may now, I just started a new business that I am really excited about! Because I just got started I don't yet know how to explain all the details. I have my business partner with me who is she is a very successful (title). We just have a quick question to ask you! (Prospect's name), this is (sponsor's name with title). (If they don't have time to talk, set a time that's better for them!) Sponsor: Hi (Prospect's Name!) This is (Sponsor's Name). It’s nice to meet you over the phone. (New Consultant's Name) has told me some great things about you and I’m looking forward to meeting you in person. To tell you the truth, (New Consultant's Name) felt a little awkward having me on the call already and surprising you like this. But I explained to (New Consultant's Name) that this is the way that we support our top achievers so I hope you don’t feel uncomfortable that I’m on the phone helping (New Consultant's Name) out. Is this okay with you? Prospect: Sure, it’s okay with me. What’s this all about anyway? Sponsor: Well (Prospect's Name), the reason for our call today is that I was wondering if you could do a personal favour for (New Consultant's Name). (New Consultant's Name) has scheduled two Grand Openings to showcase his/her business. He/She is calling people whom he/she highly respects, either personally or professionally, and asking them to show their support by attending one of these events. He/She is having one Grand Opening on (date and time of first Grand Opening) and another on (date and time of second Grand Opening). It would mean the world to (New Consultant's Name) if you would attend. Are you open to that? If yes…book date! If no…Okay, would you be open to chatting with (New Consultant's Name) over a coffee at another time to hear more about what he/she is doing? Book date!
