Machine: The laser
Screedsaver has an
automatic laser control
system that ensures
accurate level finish
through the use of
electronic remote controlled hydraulics. Unlike most walk
behind models Screedsaver comes with telescopic boom
extension arm which does not allows machine to go inside
the concrete ensuring best in class results. This machine
allows to achieve tolerance level of FM2 as per TR34
standards and capable of delivering 30,000 Sq.Ft Per day.

This small machine is best for small areas where none
of the above machines can be used due to their size
limitation. Such areas are usually seen to be neglected
by other agencies in terms of flatness and quality.

eliminates the need of continually replacing the
floor coverings thus making it value for money

Procedure details:
Moreover, no special acid agents are required in order
to prepare the surface. The initial preparation consists
of 5 to 7 steps of surface grinding. This is done in order
to achieve a dense surface as top surface of concrete
is often found to be dusty, soft and porous.Polishing
with resin diamond grids up to 3000 grit subsequently
follows this procedure. Additionally, based on specific
requirements, Lithium silicate based Nano liquid floor
hardeners and penetrating surface densifiers are also
used for arriving at the right sheen and highly increased
surface abrasion resistance. As per the International
studies the top surface abrasion resistance is
increased by at least 5 times.

Fact file:
a] In unpolished concrete, tiny particles of dust are
pushed to the surface through an upward force. This
can be termed as concrete dusting. Dusting may force
epoxies and other commonly used floor toppings and
sealers off of the surface of concrete floors, and can
lead to high cost of maintenance for industrial floors.
b] The polished concrete treatment acts as shield to
prevent water, oil, grease and other deicing chemicals
from penetrating into the surface making it ideal choice
for industrial floors and heavy duty floors.
c] Almost any concrete slab can be polished, regardless
of its age. There are many reasons for concrete
industrial floors to wear as they age: water logging
damage, surface pressure, de-lamination, improper
curing, curled cold joints, joint shoulder failure to name
few. BGSB’s signature process of polishing concrete
actually grinds the top surface of the old / affected
concrete floor, including any unleveled areas with divots
or holes, and densifies the exposed surface beneath.
Aged concrete is strengthened, with its impact and
abrasion resistance increased.
d] Polished concrete system increases the surface
reflectivity which in turn reduces the requirement of
lighting needs within your facility which helps in saving
the energy bills by at least 30%.
e] Polished Concrete flooring meets, and at times,
exceeds all international standards for slip resistance. If
regularly mopped and cleaned, polished concrete floors
will prove to be much less slippery than sealed or waxed
floors.
f] Increased life of truck tires - most industrial floors
have curling joints, from where the concrete bows
upward on the edges during concrete curing. After the
application of grinding & polishing on the affected areas,
it will level the curl joints and make the entire surface
smooth, helping tires last much longer.
g] Polished concrete floors can last as long as the slab
exists, whether that be fifty or one hundred years.
With very minimal maintenance and mopping schedule,
polished concrete provide savings over short and long
term.
h] Polished concrete is 100% green flooring option
because it drastically reduces the use of different floor
topping, coverings or coatings over a given slab on
a project, which on the other leads to land-fills upon
their eventual replacement. It also reduces the energy
requirements by at least 30%. In addition signature
system of polishing not only upholds aesthetically
pleasing design but also aligns with the LEED rating
system and contributes to LEED points.

Stamped concrete is cast-in-place concrete
flooring & paving system that adds a
distinctive architectural touch to any project,
together with the durability to stand up to
the toughest traffic loads and environmental
conditions.
Stamped concrete floor provides virtually
limitless palette of colors, textures, and
patterns - at a fraction of the cost of
traditional materials. It gives you more than
100 patterns and custom tooling options with
a wide variety of standard and custom coloring
options. You can choose from many natural
textures including slate, granite, limestone,
sandstone, cobble stone and used brick.
Fact file:
Tiles, paving blocks, and cobble stone, etc look great,
but since they form a surface of many interlocking
pieces, they are susceptible to frost-heave and other
changes in the underlying surface.
Reinforcing steel bars within the stamped concrete
help to tie the pavement together and strengthen it.
Also, bricks, pavers, cobbles, etc. allow for weed to
grow up through the cracks. Since stamped concrete
is a solid, continuous surface, nothing can grow up
through the ‘cracks’. As you may already know, the
‘cracks’ in stamped concrete are simply impressions
in the concrete that only partially go through the
surface.
