www.RiversideAnimalClinic.net Riverside Animal Clinic February-May 15, 2015 Tail Waggin’ Times Riverside Animal Clinic Offers free vaccines for Life Dr. Jim Carlson, owner of Riverside Animal Clinic, is announcing a new program for pet owners, Free Vaccines for Life. “The purpose of the program is to focus on prevention and wellness through a good, comprehensive exam every year. Vaccination isn’t the only way to prevent disease. I want to make sure your pet is completely healthy and setting aside this dedicated time every year will do a better job than just vaccine alone,” said Dr. Carlson. While owners will be required to pay a one time enrollment fee of $49 and for the regular wellness exam, the program saves a significant amount of money over the course of your pet’s life by offering two core vaccines free. With each free vaccine, you save about $20-$22. For dogs and cats, the free vaccines are the rabies and distemper combo. Other noncore vaccines may be prescribed but are offered at 10% off and enrollments of other pets are also offered at a 10% discount. Non-core vaccines include: lepto, Lyme, feline leukemia & bordetella. County license fees are not included. Contracts are available in the office. It’s a simple deal but to stay in the program you do have to return for your annual wellness visit every year. There is a 30 day grace period and if you miss it, you will need to re-enroll your pets in the Free Vaccines for Life program at Riverside. No other exams count. This is dedicated time we set aside to focus on current health, write your prescriptions for the year and DENTAL CARE IMPROVES OVERALL HEALTH AND LONGEVITY February is Pet Dental Health Month.
