RONALD MCDONALD HOUSE CHARITIES® OF ANN ARBOR RONALD MCDONALD HOUSE OF ANN ARBOR RONALD MCDONALD HOUSE WITHIN C.S. MOTT CHILDREN’S HOSPITAL BOARD OF DIRECTORS Dear Friends, Loree Collett President Since opening in 1985, the Ronald McDonald Houses of Ann Arbor have been impacting the lives of seriously ill children and their families. Our Houses are here to help alleviate some of their anxiety by proving lodging, meals and comfort in their greatest time of need. The importance for a child to know that their family is never far away helps in the healing process and strengthens the family bond. Parents, siblings, grandparents are all able to stay and support each other during this difficult time. The event will once again be held at the beautiful Jack Roth Stadium Club Room inside the University of Michigan Stadium. This year, we are especially excited to be celebrating 30 years of successfully keeping families together. The evening will be bigger and better than ever and will include a wine tasting with strolling dinner, auctions and an exclusive behind the scenes look at the Wolverines locker room, tunnel and field. As always, the goal of the event is to raise awareness and funding for the Ronald McDonald Houses of Ann Arbor. Today, the Ronald McDonald House of Ann Arbor and the Ronald McDonald House within C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital serve 1,500 families annually and maintain a 95% occupancy rate. We serve families from all over Michigan, as well as other states and countries. Some families stay days, weeks, months and even years at a time because they all wish to be near their child as they receive care and treatment. Over these past 30 years, our mission to help families focus on their health of their child has remained the same while the need for our services continues to grow. I encourage you to support the 3rd Annual Red Shoe Affair through sponsorship, auction item donation, ticket purchase or any way you are able. Not only do we rely on this event to raise financial funding for both of our Houses, but also offer the opportunity to learn more about our mission of providing a “home away from home” to families in need every day. Rosie Fellhauer Emeritus With your help, we are able to keep families together and give hope when it matters the most. Thank you in advance for your consideration.
