The new shake up at BBC Radio 1 is good news for DJ CLARA AMFO whose career goes from strength to strength. She will be taking over the mid-morning show from departing DJ Fearne Cotton from Monday to Friday on 25th May. Considered to be one of the biggest slots in daytime radio, the show is also the home of the Live Lounge, which hosts performances from some of the world’s top musical artists. Our new signing, designer KELLY HOPPEN MBE, realised she had the royal seal of approval when she met the Duke of Cambridge at the Great Festival of Creativity in Shanghai last month where she was official Ambassador. Prince William confessed slightly sheepishly that his wife Katherine, Duchess of Cambridge, would have loved to have met the queen of design Kelly too. Chatting later the same evening to former X Factor singer, REBECCA FERGUSON William said he was a fan who had downloaded one of her songs. Prof. Jonathan Shalit OBE also attended. EastEnders had an injection of glamour with the arrival of DENISE VAN OUTEN as blonde bombshell, Karin Smart, a business associate of Phil Mitchell’s. Denise has filmed several episodes of the BBC1 show playing Karin, and she also has the lead role in Sweet Charity in Concert at London’s Cadogan Hall this summer. Denise will be performing favourites from the hit musical with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra from 19th – 22nd August 2015. TWEET ALL ABOUT IT... @clairesweeneyme Loved.
