Wendy Wilts
EVP, Chief Integration Officer
Wendy Wilts has 30 years of progressive health care leadership experience. She
currently is EVP, Chief Integration Officer for Rochester Regional Health System
which is the company formed by merger of Rochester General Health System and
Unity Health System in 2014, an effort she lead. This $2B organization represents 5
hospitals, multiple ancillary and physician practices and covers 1 million patients in
15 counties in Western New York. Her previous two roles for Unity Health System
included SVP Clinical Service Lines, and VP of Strategic Planning and Business
Development.
Prior to joining Unity in 2010, Wendy was EVP for SpineMark Corporation in San
Diego, CA. providing consulting services to health systems throughout the United
States and global market establishing Centers of Excellence in Orthopaedics, Spine,
Neuroscience and Pain Management. She spent 25 years of her career at Sanford
Health System in Sioux Falls, SD serving in a number of progressive leadership
roles, including VP for Surgical and Cardiovascular Departments, Director of
Cardiovascular Services, Director of Practice Development and Regional Director of
Operations for the Primary Care Division.
Wendy has experience in operations management, mergers and acquisitions,
program development, physician group practice management, physician
compensation, health care reform and consulting, as well as building design and
development. She has a certification in Lean Health Care and is a yellow belt in
Lean Six Sigma.
