Parent Night on May 6th, the doors will open at 5:45 for
those joining us for the Volunteer Reception in the
Atrium. The hallways will not open until 6:00 in protection
of our students at Powerhouse. If you arrive early, you
will need to wait outside until the doors open. Thank you
for your cooperation!
Parent Night May 6th
5:45-6:00: Volunteer Appreciation in the cup area of the
Atrium. Please bring your invitation and join us in
celebration for your hard work at LSRO this year!!
6:00-6:45: Tour the next grade level. Each room of the
next grade level will be open for families to meet all the
teachers and receive written information about the next
grade level to take home with you. It is our hope that
this will eliminate overcrowding in classrooms and not
being able to hear about all of your children’s teachers
for the next year.
Remember that Friday, May 2nd is the last day for parent
observations. There will not be exceptions to this date.

Field Day is Wednesday, May 21st. Come out and enjoy the events with your student. Concessions will
be offered on Field Day including hot dogs, hamburgers, navhos and more. Further information to

Academic Olympics starts Monday! We want to say a big THANK YOU to our PTO for sponsoring us by providing games,
puzzles, and crafts. YOU ARE THE BEST!

Dates: July 7-10th
Times: Students entering 1st -2nd will be 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Students entering 3rd - 4th will be 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Location: LSRO Ed Building

This 6 week’s theme is Motivation to Achieve and we have all certainly been supporting that theme
with our STAAR pep rally and all the pep talks you have been giving your students in class!
May 2: College Day
All staff are encouraged to wear a college tshirt
Students are allowed to wear a college tshirt also.
FINE ARTS SUMMER CAMP!
GRADES 3-6
Come join the fun this summer and see what all the excitement's about!
This is our 4th year to produce a summer musical and it is an experience all the participants will remember forever!
Students have the opportunity to act, sing, and dance in a musical – and create art works for the show.
The camp will be June 16th-27th from 9-12 everyday.
We will conclude the camp with a performance of the
show on June 27th.
COST: 120.00 per student
(if you register by the end of April receive a 10.00 discount)
