Please note: To maximize available spaces and to allow more artists to participate: “double-wides” are limited to twelve (12).
Only the first twelve properly prepared and funded applications received by May 9, 2015 will be accepted for double-wide.
Get your request in early. Adjacent spaces that are sold individually will not qualify for prize awards if painted as a “double-wide.”

ARTISTS RULES AND GUIDELINES
Sign in at the Registration Tent between
9:00 am and 2:00 pm Saturday, June 20, 2014.
The Registration Tent is located NORTH of the
Tennis Courts at Farwell at the Lake!!!
You are also required to provide your own
TARPS, rags, and solvents necessary to clean
up your work area immediately surrounding
your mural {on page one 4x4 Tarps are $1}
At registration, you will receive a designated
numbered space for you to paint. Every attempt
is made to reserve spaces on a first come, first
serve basis. These space assignments may
not be changed or traded without the express
written approval of the Registration Table
Official and logged into her book.
Brushes, paint cans, paint soiled rags, and
hands may not be cleaned in the lake.
You are required to use weatherproof paint:
outdoor latex or acrylic paint. You are
required to provide your own painting tools:
brushes, rollers, etc. Paint will be available
for purchase: $8.00 for 4 cups of paint with
one (1) refill per single, individual space.
Painters who leave a mess will have points
deducted and may be disqualified from the
event—now and in the future.
Registration takes place on Saturday, June 20th
from 9:00 am until 2:00 pm.
Pre-registrants who do not claim their space
by 2:00 pm on Saturday, June 20th will
forfeit their space and the registration fee.
Work must begin on your space before the
Saturday 2:00 pm deadline.
To be considered for an award, all work must
be completed on your mural by 2:00 pm,
Sunday, June 21, 2014.
The Awards Ceremony will be held at 4:30 pm
Sunday, June 21st near the music stage.
The Judges’ decisions regarding the awarding of prizes are final.
Adults: 1st Place $300
2nd Place $150
3rd Place $75
Prizes are as follows:
Teens: 1st Place $100
2nd Place $75

2. Overall Use of Space & Shape of Painting Surface
3. Artistic Creativity
Special note regarding the eligibility of the category:
More than one person may work on the same piece but the
category of junior or teen must apply to the oldest
person working on the mural (with the exception of very
young children—ages 3 to 7—who are assisted or
supervised by adults).
Prize money will be in the form of a check mailed from
the Loyola Park Advisory Council, payable to the
participant or their parent or guardian.
Prize checks for youth winners (under 18 years of age)
will be made out to their specified parent or guardian
listed on page one of this form.
