Items on the ballot will include an election for the Mayor of Kansas City, Missouri, City Council candidates running for “at-large” positions, a seat on the Raytown School Board, and special ballot questions. Another very important race on the ballot will be for the Kansas th City, Missouri 5 District, in District, City Council seat. Rolling Meadows II is located in th the 5 District, and the two candidates with the most votes will proceed to the General rd Election on June 23 . The winner of the General Election will represent our neighborhood on the City Council for the next four years. Please make sure you’re registered to vote, and learn about the candidates and issues that will appear on the ballot. Read newspapers, check out the various candidates’ websites, talk to your friends and neighbors, and try to attend any voter or community forums. You can also find detailed information about the election, including voting locations, poll hours, etc. by visiting the Kansas City Board of Election Commissioners’ website at www.kceb.org. Examples of projects needing review include painting, fence construction, decks, room additions, etc. The review process is quick and easy. Just provide a description or construction drawing. If you’re painting, please provide the paint manufacturer, color name, and number. approved within just a few days. Spring is a Great Time for Lawn & Landscaping Projects Spring cleaning is for both the inside. . . and outside of your home. As Winter finally comes to an end and temperatures rise, take a few moments to examine the condition of your lawn and landscaping. There may be a few dead or dying bushes, some bare spots in the yard, and landscaping beds in your yard could most likely benefit from a fresh layer of mulch. Now is a great time to start working on these lawn and landscaping projects. And, if you finish them early in the season, you will be able to enjoy a great looking lawn all Summer!!. 2015 Homes Association Dues If you haven’t already done so, please remember to pay your 2015 homes association dues.
