ROYSTON ELEMENTARY SCHOOL LEGACY PROJECT Reminder that our PAC is looking to put its’ mark on our school with a legacy/capital project. We are inviting suggestions for this project from teachers, children and parents. Suggestions can be capital building projects such as an outdoor classroom or a legacy program such as yearly swimming lessons for primary grades. No suggestion is too big or too small. We are just in the idea phase and want your input. There will be a red suggestion box on the office counter from now until the end of the 2015. So far we have not received any suggestions so just a reminder that this is your chance to make a big change in your child’s school so next time you are around the office pop in a suggestion. ROBERTA’S CORNER We still have 5 Friday hot lunches and 7 weeks of kitchen snacks/lunches to heat up and we are having a period of really low volunteer turnout. We need you!! If you can put your name and phone number on the list at the side of the fridge in the school kitchen to be an alternate when one of our regular kitchen ladies can’t make it in, please do. If we are not able to cover a kitchen shift we will have to close the kitchen on that day. As well, if you can spare an hour from 11:30-12:30pm to help to distribute Friday Hot Lunch we would really appreciate your help. Roberta is still looking for oven safe casserole dishes for donation to our kitchen. If you have any to donate, just drop off on the kitchen counter.
