amount, percentage or part of your estate, or the
residue of your estate.
We have provided our recommended wording for
your Will for your convenience:
After payment of all my debts, funeral and
testamentary expenses and all duties, taxes and
charges payable on my Estate at my death, I give
to The Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty
to Animals (Victoria) (“RSPCA”):
On behalf of ‘all creatures great
and small’ we thank you for
considering making a difference
to animal welfare in Victoria.
(a) the sum of $<amount>;
(b) <percentage> of my estate;
(c) The residue of my estate;
for the general purposes of the RSPCA. I declare
that the receipt of the treasurer or other proper
officer of the RSPCA will be sufficient discharge
for my Trustees.

About the RSPCA
The Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to
Animals (Victoria) is a non-government, community
based charity that works to prevent cruelty to
animals and provide vital animal welfare services
throughout Victoria.
We have been working tirelessly to care for and
protect animals since 1871 and in this time we
have become Australia’s leading animal welfare
organisation.
As a not-for-profit organisation, the RSPCA relies
on community support to care for ‘all creatures
great and small’. More than 90% of the RSPCA’s
funding is due to the generous support of the
Victorian community.

Five Freedoms
SHELTERS
RSPCA Victoria is the trusted advocate for animals
and leads social change so that all animals live
according to the Five Freedoms.
The RSPCA operates animal welfare shelters across
Victoria providing thousands of stray and abandoned
animals each year with a second chance at happiness.
INSPECTORATE
Our team of RSPCA Inspectors works to protect animals
from cruelty, investigate complaints, prosecute offenders
and rescue animals from dangerous situations.
