The Arts District is the antitheses of the LA stereotype. In a City known for plastic and
sprawl, One Santa Fe is a magnet for people from all over LA looking for substance,
authenticity, and style. YARDS at One Santa Fe is the center of the creative community
in LOS ANGELES.
ARTS DISTRICT
The Arts District was born out of the turn of the
century warehouses that were abandoned in the
1970’s. Artists moved in and were quickly
followed by other creative businesses.
Today, the Arts District is a destination for
fashion and design influencers from all over LA.
THE
NEIGHBORHOOD
One Santa Fe is part of an ever-evolving Downtown Los Angeles that includes
the new Ace Hotel and Acne Studios flagship store as well as restaurants like Bon
Appetit’s “Best New Restaurant of 2013,”Alma.
2016 will see the launch of internationally famed gallery of contemporary art
and modern masters, Hauser and Wirth, in a 100,000 square foot converted
flour mill.
The Arts District is home to SCI-Arc, one of the top architectural schools in the
country, nationally lauded restaurants such as Bestia and Church & State, and an
increasingly vibrant specialty retail scene with merchants such as Apolis and Poketo.
The neighborhood stands in stark contrast to more sterile retail districts like
Rodeo, Melrose, and Robertson. The Arts District is modern, unpretentious,
and fresh.
A COLLECTION
of 25 specialty designers, merchants, and renowned restaurateurs in the heart of the Los Angeles Arts District. Opening Spring 2015
What began as a charming cherry stand in Manhattan Beach, GROW has evolved into the South
Bay’s premier destination for the best produce, meats, cheeses and wine. Their second location in the
Arts District will feature a full kitchen that will support artisanal sandwiches and salads, freshly made
side dishes, a carefully curated wine department and a sushi bar.
The founders of GROW are committed to making their One Santa Fe location a place that locals and
visitors want to visit again and again. A place where you can run into a neighbor or colleague and
connect. A place where you can always trust the folks in the produce department to pick a ripe
cantaloupe. A place where you can ask, “What’s good,” and believe the answer.
The Voyager Shop is a unique retail collaboration between Austin’s boutique Spartan and San Francisco's
Revolver. With the overwhelming success of its initial San Francisco Mission District location, Voyager has
decided to open its first store in Southern California store at the Yards at One Santa Fe.
The Voyager Shop is focused on pieces that are made from the best quality materials to ensure longevity and
preserve history and process — pieces that have a story, that are more than just fabric and materials. The store
takes pride in finding items from emerging and established brands, producers and makers to support and
celebrate California and international artisans that they believe are the best and brightest in craft.
WITTMORE is a modern and approachable menswear shop founded by fashion industry veteran Paul C Witt.
WITTMORE launched several years ago as an online-only destination for established, niche, and emerging brands. Its
second brick and mortar location will be opening at One Santa Fe.
The Arts District location will boast an extensive assortment of clean, smartly edited clothing, accessories and grooming
products from over 30 brands including Levi's Vintage Clothing, Officine Generale, Universal Works, M.Nii, Creep by
Hiroshi Awai, Stanley & Sons, Giles & Brother, and Robert Siegel Ceramics.
Gogosha Optique is a high end, service and design driven eyewear and sunglass boutique,
founded and owned by eye wear guru Julia Gogosha.
Gogosha believes that the bespectacled people of Los Angeles deserve to be inspired by
their eyewear. Eyewear should not be about just a brand name stamped at the temple of a
frame, but about a personal statement, a physical enhancement, and a representation of
the wearer.
The Arts District location will feature independent, handmade eyewear from around the
globe. No labels. No logos. No mass-production.
From humble beginnings as an ice cream truck in Brooklyn, Van Leeuwen has grown to be one of
the premiere ice cream makers in the country. Ben, Pete, and Laura make all of their ice cream
from scratch in Greenpoint, Brooklyn using only fresh milk, cream, cane sugar, egg yolks, and the
best fruits, chocolates, spices and nuts from small producers locally and around the world. Van
Leeuwen’s first West Coast store at One Santa Fe will feature their homemade ice creams, fresh
pastries, and Toby’s Estate Coffee.
Started in the San Francisco Bay Area, Café Gratitude is a 100% organic, plant-based restaurant
specializing in gourmet cuisine. They strive to create a menu and environment that supports health
and sustainability for both our community and the planet.
Joining immensely successful Los Angeles locations in Larchmont Village and Venice, the One Santa
Fe Café Gratitude will operate daily for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Diners will also be able to stop
in for a cup of Stumptown coffee, freshly pressed juices, and vegan pastries. Bol is a new, boldly flavored, Asian-influenced dining experience from
Andrea Uyeda, the former COO for Susan Feniger’s Border Grill
Restaurant Group. Open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, Bol will offer
a sophisticated, yet affordable menu with locally sourced ingredients.
The glass enclosed space will feature a large indoor/outdoor patio and
bar which will become a center of activity and energy for the Arts
District community.
Internationally acclaimed skin and hair care brand, Malin + Goetz, will be opening
its second West Coast apothecary at One Santa Fe. Launched in 2004 in New
York, Malin + Goetz products utilize natural based treatments that incorporate
gentle technologies for ultimate performance. The new boutique, while modern in
every way, will be similar to traditional neighborhood apothecaries of years past:
full of activity, wonderful treatments and great customer service.
