Situated at 105 Gibson Drive in Markham, 105 Gibson
Centre is a 47,000 square feet Christian community centre.
The five core ministries, namely, Community Classroom,
Community Need, Youth Ministry, Cultural Café and Sport
Ministry, guide the diversified social services provided by 105
Gibson Centre, such as youth programs, seniors wellness,
community education, career counseling, food bank, cultural
and recreational activities. The Centre also partners with
various local organizations to provide comprehensive services
that meet the needs of residents in the community and

EDUCATIONAL ROBOTICS PROGRAM
[ST01-S15]
Program: The program will stimulate children’s interest into
robotics and they will learn about robotics while simultaneously gaining life experience through project building and
team work. Through hands-on exploration, children learn
fundamental information on subjects like science and
technology. Students will also have the opportunity to join
our FLL (FIRST LEGO League) team for competitions.

Due to different level of participants, 105 Gibson Centre will
notify the registered students for the course dates.

A MEAL TOGETHER [YMT-S15]
Sharing food is friendship building. A free meal is offered to
the youths in our community. Sports activities provided.

YOUTH SUCCESS INITIATIVES [YSI-S15]
Youth Success Initiatives provide free tutoring service for
students from low income families, racialized and new
immigrants struggling to succeed in math, science and ESL in
the Ontario curriculum.
Date & Time: Every Tuesday 4-8pm OR Every Saturday
9am-1pm (subject to tutor’s availability)
Target: Grade 9 to 12
Subjects: Math, Science and ESL

SENIOR SUMMER CAMP
Program: A Summer Camp designed for seniors, programs
include day trip, games, learning and sharing. An
opportunity for seniors to be active in this summer!

PRIME TIME
Designed for individuals aged 40 or above in the community with holistic care for the "body" "mind" and "soul".
Activities include:
• physical exercises such as line dance, badminton,

• interest activities such as creative arts, computer studies,
cooking, painting, photography
• wellness seminars such as health news, financial management, travel sharing

Program: The activity target seniors' need of physical, mind
and soul. Help them to develop their potential in physical,
music and art, encourage life-long learning and integrate
them in the community.

the government, seniors can register with their health card
and the fee will be waived.
