What could I qualify for? • Help with tuition fees. • Help with tuition fees and additional costs, such as living costs etc. The maximum loan students can get for tuition fees at a privately-funded university or college is £6,000 per year. *Please note: applying for Tuition Fee support is done under the EU Student Finance scheme. Any additional loans, for example Maintenance, must be applied for separately via SFE. 2. How do I know that I can qualify? The following needs to apply: • You are an EU national or a family member of an EU national. • You have lived in the EEA or Switzerland for 3 years minimum before the course commences. • You will be living in the UK on the first day of the Academic year in which your course starts. • Your course qualifies. • Help with tuition fees and additional costs, such as living costs etc. 2 SFE for EU Students -Fact Sheet LCCMLCCM Eligibility Which LCCM courses qualify for funding support? All of LCCM’s Higher Education courses are specially designated for student loan support, for both full-time or part-time* study: • BMus (Hons) – Bachelor of Music • CertHE – Certificate of Higher Education • HNC – Higher National Certificate * Students studying part-time must apply for their funding as Part-time. To apply for funding support, you must: • Got to the following link: https://www.gov.uk/student-finance-forms/y/eu-full-time/year-1415/new-student • Read the application thoroughly before filling out the form. • Read the Evidence Fact Sheet for EU Students: http://www.sfengland.slc.co.uk/media/722312/eu_evidence_factsheet_d.pdf • Gather all of the required evidence to support your application. (i.e. Council Tax Bills, Bank Statements etc. or Child Benefit or Tax Credit letter from Parent/Guardian.)
