Thank you for supporting our upcoming Employment Connect on Friday, March 27, 2015.
Our goal is to bring you qualified, job-ready candidates who will be a boon to your organization.
This event is different from other “job fair” events. In order to get the maximum value from your participation,
please refer to the Best Practices information below and schedule a one-on-one pre-event phone meeting to
provide you more information about our programs, the potential candidates and this event.
Again, thank you for participating in this event, and for supporting veterans, former foster youth, and formerly
homeless men and women as they enter the workforce.

Exhibitor Info: Each participating organization is provided one 8-foot table, two chairs and a table cloth.
Electricity is limited. Please contact me ASAP if access to electricity is required.

Please schedule a phone meeting prior to this event. This meeting with provide you with information
about our program, this event, and the pool of potential candidates.
Pre-screen candidates through your online application process and use this event as an initial
interview.
Plan to arrive by 8:00 am to set up your table and attend the event welcome. This event will be held
rain or shine.
Attend the Kick Off Rally for employers at 8:30am to learn how other employers have benefitted from
being a hiring partner. Continental breakfast available.
Bring a laptop; we will have a “hotspot” available.
We recommend two representatives from each organization participate so on-the-spot interviews can
take place. We will set up tables inside & outside to interview or have applicants use to fill out
applications.
