The Catholic Widows and Widowers
of Ulster County… usually meet on the 3rd
Sunday each month at noon. The group meets for
brunch and a meeting. Many events are planned
during the year with picnics and dinners. New

The ANNUAL LOBBY FOR
LIFE
DAY
which
is
sponsored by New York
State Right to Life is
scheduled for 29 April. A
bus will be leaving for
Albany at 7:30AM from St.
Mary’s Church, Kingston.
Return is planned by 4:00PM. The purpose of the
trip is to support those who are protecting the
unborn, disabled and elderly through legislative and
legal action. For more information, and to reserve

Races
The April 19th Kingston Classic
Races will affect people attending
masses on that day. The N. Front, Fair, Main, and
Wall Street route will be CLOSED, 6:30AM thru out
the day. Parking can be on Wall Street on both
sides before Main Street. You will be able to turn
left onto Main Street.

After 11:30 am Mass Once a
Month Coffee & Cookies
After our successful 1st “After 11:30am Mass Once
a Month Coffee & Cookies” in January, we are
planning to have these short socials on the last
Sunday of each month. This month, we will meet in
the Msgr. Keating Bldg. lobby right after the 1130
am Mass for coffee, cookies and conversation on

activity
allows

international Catholic evangelist Tony Bellizzi at St.
John’s Church, Woodstock of April 19th, from noon
– 1:30pm. Tony's approach on this subject is
unique. The miracles are organized by their
common phenomena; and what Jesus is revealing
through them; rather than geographically,
chronologically or alphabetically; allowing for a
clearer appreciation and understanding.

DIVINE MERCY SUNDAY
The Catholic Church has declared the first Sunday
after Easter as Divine Mercy Sunday. The Church
has added a plenary indulgence to
it. A plenary indulgence is the
complete remission of sin and
punishment.
To
obtain
this
indulgence one has to go to
confession,
receive
Holy
Communion and recite some
prayers for the intention of the
Pope. Come join us this Sunday,
April 12, 2015 at 3:00 P.M. for the
Divine Mercy service at St.
Joseph's Church. There will be the blessing of the
Divine Mercy Picture, Divine Mercy Chaplet sung
by Fr. Frank and Mass. Confession will be from
2:00 P.M. to 3:00 P.M.

pledges/gifts toward the 2014 Cardinal's Appeal,
from 134 gifts/families. Our Parish goal is
$62.500. For this Appeal to be truly successful, we
must have the support of all of our families. The
Appeal is a vital source of funding for the programs
and ministries that sustain the parishes across our

Anniversary anytime during 2015 are invited to
attend the Annual Golden Wedding Jubilee
Mass with Cardinal Dolan at the Cathedral of

Next Sunday, the monthly collection of
canned and non-perishable goods will be
taken up at all the Masses for People’s Place
and St. Joseph’s Social Ministry. Please help
