What is the Saitama Sport Commission?
ⒸURAWA REDS
スポーツイベントの誘致と開催支援を通じ、観光や交流人口
の拡大を図って地域経済を活性化することを目的として組織さ
れた団体です。
「スポーツ観光」市場を創出し、
「スポーツによる地域経済活
性化のエンジン
（推進機関）」として、スポーツ、経済、観光、
メディア等の関係団体、行政機関などから構成され、公益社団
法人さいたま観光国際協会が事務局を担っています。

The Saitama Sport Commission (SSC) is an organization
formed to revitalize the local economy by expanding tourism
and exchange through the promotion and hosting of sports
events.
Administered by the Saitama Tourism and International
Relations Bureau, the SSC has created a sports tourism
market and serves as an engine for revitalizing the local
economy through sports . The SSC comprises organizations
involved with sports, business, tourism, and media, as well
as governmental agencies.

さいたま市内で開催されるスポーツイベント等を対象
とし、開催規模等に応じて予算の範囲内で助成します。
We provide subsidies for sports and other events held in Saitama
City according to the scale of the event and our budget.

（主な条件）
Subsidy Eligibility (main conditions)
（１）さいたま市内を主たる会場とするもの
（１）The main venue for the event is in Saitama City.
（２）さいたま市域外からの参加者が相当数見込まれるスポーツ
大会・競技会又は相当数の集客が可能なスポーツイベント
（２）The event is expected to attract a considerable
number of participants and spectators from outside of
Saitama City.
（３）
政治的、宗教的な活動を目的としないもの
（３）The objective of the event is neither political nor
religious.
（４）
主催団体が国又は地方公共団体以外の団体であること
（４）The event is organized by an entity other than the
national government or local public authority.
（５）
さいたまスポーツコミッションが実施する経済波及効果等の
調査に対して、充分な結果が得られるよう協力できるもの
（５）The organizer is able to cooperate with the Saitama
Sport Commission in conducting surveys to gather
sufficient data on the economic impact of the event.
（６）さいたまスポーツコミッションの協力を得ている事を広報
できるもの
（５）The organizer is able to announce to the public that
the event is being conducted in cooperation with the
Saitama Sport Commission.

さいたま市内事業者又は公益社団法人さいたま観光国際協会会
員事業者に支払ったものとします。
The eligible expenses for granting subsidy are paid to
either companies in Saitama City or Saitama Tourism and
International Relations Bureau member companies.

※国際大会（日本を含む２カ国以上の国又は地域が参加
する大会）の場合は、上記倍額を限度とします。
※交付対象となるには事前の審査が必要です。また、原
則として開催前年度の６月までに協議を経た大会イベ
ントでなければ申請を受理できません。
※大会イベント終了後、参加人数又は観客数が規定に満
たなかった場合は交付対象外となります。

※The maximum subsidy is doubled for international tournaments (more
than 2 countries or regions including Japan need to participate).
※To become eligible, a preliminary screening is necessary. Also, as a
rule, events must pass the screening by the end of June of the fiscal
year preceding the event year. Otherwise, applications will not be
accepted.
※If, upon completion, the event has failed to gather the minimum
required participants or spectators, it will become ineligible for the
subsidy.
