April is a critical month at Santa Barbara Hillel. We will celebrate Passover with hundreds of
our students, but we will also face the challenge of a new anti-Israel Boycott/Divestment/
Sanctions (BDS) resolution in student government.

We need your help right now. To
support our Passover celebration,
we are especially seeking table
sponsors at the $1000 and $1800
levels. To ensure we have the
resources to defeat BDS once
again and keep anti-Semitism at
bay on our campus, we are
seeking individuals and
foundations to sponsor our work
at levels of $1000, $5000, and
$10,000.
Of course, gifts of any amount
are always appreciated. Your gift
enables us to provide Passover
Seders and Kosher for Passover
food to students, free of charge,
throughout the holiday. Help us build upon positives like Passover, while enabling us to turn
challenges like BDS and anti-Semitism into opportunities. With your help, we will continue to
offer a safe, welcoming, and pluralistic presence as a vibrant center of student life in Isla Vista.
Through our efforts with students, UC Santa Barbara is the only campus in the UC system to
have defeated BDS resolutions every single time. Our UCSB Jewish students rank highest in the
UC system in their assessment of campus climate (and above even the UCSB student body as a
whole). We are proactive in standing up for our students, building bridges, and fostering
community.
