Unlike any camp in the area, Sarasota Jungle Gardens’ Summer Zoo Camp
program is full of opportunity. Children explore the Gardens and discover
exciting facts about our wonderful world of plants, animals and birds.
They learn about, care and interact with animals daily Camp also includes
organized games, crafts, guest speakers and child produced presentations
for family!
Camp is for children ages 6-13 (at least completing Kindergarten). The fun lasts
from June to August with 9 weeks of camp. Children may attend any number of
weeks and the weeks do not have to be consecutive. There are no prerequisites.
However, weeks cannot be broken into day visits. There are multiple week and
sibling discounts too. Supervision is provided by background-screened adults.
No matter how it’s done Summer Zoo Camp at Sarasota Jungle Gardens is a
memorable, fun and educational experience for all!

SUMMER ZOO CAMP RULES
Camp begins at 9:00 a.m. and ends at 3:00 p.m. Drop off begins at 8:30 a.m. Campers must be picked up by 3:30 p.m. or a $15.00 charge will be added for
each additional fifteen minutes. Sarasota Jungle Gardens closes at 5:00 p.m. Authorities will be called if a child is left after 5:00 p.m. Parent/Guardian Photo ID is
required for pick-up. No exceptions will be allowed in order to keep all of our campers safe. Parents/Guardians must sign child in and out each day. Please park
in the Sarasota Jungle Gardens’ parking lot, located North of the Allyn Educational Building, and accompany your camper across the bridge to the building. This is
the sign-in/sign-out area. Campers must wear their Summer Zoo Camp t-shirt each day of camp. Children dropped off not wearing their t-shirt will be required to
purchase one to be paid for at time of pick-up at a cost of $9.00 + tax. Children should also wear comfortable play clothes, closed toe shoes and appropriate sun/
insect protection. We highly recommend sending your child with a change of clothes as well. Thank you in advance for your compliance with these rules.
PARENTAL RELEASE: Must be signed prior to child beginning camp.
Sarasota Jungle Gardens’ Summer Zoo Camp rules have been read and understood. To ensure the safety of my child, I authorize emergency medical treatment
for my child, if necessary, and release Sarasota Jungle Gardens from any liability resulting from such treatment. If photos of my child are taken, I agree to allow
Sarasota Jungle Gardens to use these photos for promotional purposes. Camp weeks are non-refundable, unless cancelled, due to lack of enrollment.
