o Recognise the clinical features of inflammatory arthritis
o Describe available management for high prevalence rheumatology conditions including gout, RA and
spondyloarthropathy
o Understand Disease-Modifying Anti-Rheumatic Drugs (DMARDs) including biologics
o Diagnose and manage fibromyalgia
o Understand the relevance of ANA and other common autoantibodies in clinical practice
o Be able to advise which complimentary therapies and lifestyle changes are effective in
rheumatological diseases.
o Demonstrate confidence in communicating with other support services and allied health practitioners
to coordinate optimal management for patients
