A brief coaches/captains meeting will take place at 7:40 A.M. to go over the ground rules for the day. All players playing in the second match should be there at least a 1/2-hour early. Any changes to format or playoff brackets will be handed out at the coaches meeting. USVBA Rules will apply. *Warm-up Format Definition 10 Minute warm up applies to the first 2 matches of the pool play each day and the first matches of bracket play. A 2-4-4 format will be used for the 10 minute warm up. The first two minutes will be for ball handling, followed by 4 minutes on the court for the serving team and then 4 minutes for the receiving team. 5 minute warm up applies to all other matches. A 1-2-2 format will be used for the 5 minute warm up. Format- 4(4) team pools. Pool play will be 2 of 3 games rally scoring to 25 points with a 27 point cap. If needed 3rd game is to 15 no cap. All teams will advance to one of the following playoff divisions; Gold (8), Silver (8) , Bronze (4), and Copper (4) Medal for 1st, 2nd place and 3rd of Gold, Silver and 1st and 2nd of the Bronze and Copper Divisions Playoffs will begin after pool is completed. A playoff match is two out of three games to 25 pt., no cap. If a deciding game is needed it will be 15-point rally scoring, switch at 8 points and no cap. Make sure you check with the site director before leaving tournament. Concessions and Tee Shirts will be on sale.
