A panel discussion and luncheon co-chaired by Colette Howe and Mary Melvin, the event will feature a distinguished group of industry leaders who will explore the art of design, and its elusive nature. Why does one design stand out, while another does not? “The inaugural Art of Design panel was of great interest to a broad audience,” says Whitney Lucas Rosenberg, Director of Development at the Bruce Museum. “We are thrilled with the participation of such fascinating leaders in their industries both last year and this.” This year’s panel of experts includes Robert B. Chavez, President and CEO of Hermès of Paris, Inc.; Olivia Graham, Fashion Photographer, Olivia Graham Photography; Richard Granoff, Founder and Managing Principal, Granoff Architects; Jane Larkworthy, Beauty Director, W Magazine; and Linda Ruderman, Owner, Linda Ruderman Interiors. The discussion will be moderated by Cristin Marandino, Editor of Greenwich Magazine. “Last year’s inaugural event was very well received, attracting stellar panelists and interested guests,” adds Becky Conelias, development officer at the Bruce and organizer of the event. “This year’s discussion will focus on how successful design is approached in our complex world.” Page 1 of 2 Press Release For tickets, visit www.artofdesign2015.eventbrite.com, or contact Becky Conelias at (203) 413-6745, or via email at [email protected].
