Classroom Connections
The Hines Catch-Up
Grade 9/10 English: Students have begun a brief study of mythology. We are also continuing our study of Romeo
and Juliet. Summaries are due the day after we complete the act. Brief summaries are available on Google Classroom.
Grade 9/10 Career Studies: May will be a busy month with guest speakers and career explorations. Students
should have completed their first drafts of their resumes by now. They should remember to tailor their resumes to the job
for which they are applying! They received resources from Northern Community Development Services (NCDS) today that
are very helpful for building a resume.
Music: Please note the concert date change and make appropriate arrangements to be able to attend the June 8
concert wearing black bottoms and white tops.
