WORKING TOGETHER ON THE THINGS THAT MATTER 1 2 3 4 5 Suffolk Coastal District & Felixstowe Town Council Elections 7 May 2015 Conservatives have frozen your District Council Tax for the 4 years since the last election — and again for next year. We have done this not by huge cuts to services, but by working more efficiently. We created a new Community Enabling Scheme, using money gained from “New Homes Bonus”, not Council Taxes. That allows £4000 per year per councillor to help local community projects and groups. Unemployment here has dropped from 2.1% in 2012 to only 0.7% now, due to our policies to encourage and support businesses large and small, which we pledge to continue. We will continue to develop the Landguard area to be even better than it is now, including progressing a £3M bid for Lottery funding , as a great place for both visitors and Felixstowe people to enjoy We will continue energetically to seek out new ways to bring you high quality services at lower cost, like the examples inside. HOW YOU CAN HELP PETER AND ANDY You can help Peter’s and Andy’s Campaign for Felixstowe South Ward by joining hundreds of local people displaying a poster, delivering leaflets or helping the campaign.
