Charlottesville Royalettes Baton Class Spring Session Baton Classes will be taught by the UVA
Cavalier Marching Band twirlers. Girls and
boys entered in grades K-12 are invited. No
experience is necessary.
Learn the basics as well as a parade routine to
perform at the Dogwood Festival Parade in
Charlottesville.
Make new friends. Build self-confidence,
poise & physical fitness and have fun!
Classes will be held every Monday night from 6:10 –
7:10 pm. Registration and the first class is January
27, 2014. Come ready to twirl by wearing
comfortable clothing like you would for gym class.

The Spring Session is $140 and includes a Royalette tank and shorts to be worn for the
practices and performance. The cost can be broken up into three payments of $50, $50, and
$40 to be paid the first class of February, March, and April. For new members, there is a $15
AAU insurance fee to allow for the use of the gym and a $27 baton fee that is due at the first
class.
Class dates include:
January 27th - February 3rd, 10th, 24th
March 3rd, 10th, 17th, 24th - April 7th, 14th , 21st
April 26th Dogwood Festival Parade
Classes will be held at Agnor Hurt Sutherland Middle School is located at 2801 Powell Creek Dr.
