Annunciation School’s Drama Club, under the direction of Ms. Stoutenburg, Sr. Theresa and Mrs.
Brosnahan will be presenting Annie, Jr. Friday, May 1st at 7:00pm and Saturday, May 2nd at 7:00pm.
Admission is by pre-purchased tickets only. Both shows are sold out! Ticket requests already
placed have been filled and will be sent home today.
Save the Date
St. John’s professors Dr. Melissa Parenti and Alisha Dorow will be giving a parent presentation on
Friday, May 8th at 8:30AM in the auditorium. Join us as they discuss the common core standards
and their work with Annunciation School this year.
Eighth Grade Information
Permission slips for the trip are being sent home today with details for the trip. Invitations for
graduation are also being sent home. Each student is receiving 4 invitations, however, there are no
tickets required for graduation. Please also note that the ADNY mass for eighth grade students in
Central Westchester that was scheduled for May 6th has been cancelled.
May Parking
In May we auctioned off a VIP parking space in front of school. No one is permitted to park directly
in front of school during morning drop off or afternoon pickup. The parking space winner for
February is the BONNER family.
Vacation Bible School
Annunciation is excited to offer a Vacation Bible School this June! Current Annunciation PreK and
K students are invited to join us for two weeks of music, activities, and faith-filled fun. The program
will run from June 15 – 26, on Mondays through Thursdays from 8:15 – 2:30 and on Fridays from
8:15 – 12:00. Children will bring their own lunch and snack every day (no lunch on Fridays). The
cost for the program is $500. To secure your spot, a nonrefundable deposit of $100 is due Friday,
May 1st, with a final payment of $400 due by June 1. We hope to see you there!

The Annunciation Home School Association is once again selling gift cards to Stew Leonard’s. Stock up
now for all your Mother’s Day, Communion, and Confirmation purchases! For each gift
card you purchase, Annunciation School receives up to 10% of the total we purchase as a group, and you get
the full value of the gift card. It really is as easy as that!
If you wish to order one or more gift cards, please complete the bottom portion of this flyer and return it to
school with a check payable to Annunciation Home School Association, in an envelope marked “Stew
Leonard’s Gift Cards.” All gift card orders MUST be returned by Friday, May 1 st . The cards
can be sent home in your child’s homework folder or will be available for pick up at school on
Wednesday, May 6 th .
Please call Suzie Marley at 914-337-0337 for gift cards, to arrange a delivery if you are unable to pick up your gift
cards, or if you have any questions.
If you shop at Stew’s, please consider buying gift cards. It doesn’t cost you anything extra, and the money
really helps our school. Last year, this program made over $2000. Thank you to all the families who

The 34th ANNUAL AMC GOLF OUTING
Monday 1 JUNE 2015
To be held at the historic Leewood Golf Club
Join us for a legendary day of Golf with fellow AMC members, parishioners and friends.
The Day includes:
Full Breakfast spread (and we mean full) including Omelet Stations starting at 11am
18 holes of golf with "shamble" competition format. Very exciting!
Closest to the pin, long drive, and beat the Pro (not difficult) competitions as well...
On Course Beverage Stations...Boom!
Use of locker rooms to freshen up after golf...always pleasant
Cocktail Hour with tons of Hors d'Oeuvres... 6-7pm
Gourmet Dinner with Carving Stations, Pasta Stations & Open Bar....
Followed by awards for golf competition, extraordinary raffle prizes (see below) and a live
auction filled with fabulous items. MC duties performed by the venerable Mr. John McCombe.
The cost for the entire day is $300 per Golfer (includes caddie and cart).
If you cannot make the golf, we have a Dinner Only option for $125. Includes open bar...
Please pre-register. (See below) Registration table opens at 10am. Shotgun start at 12:30.
Raffles for all the extraordinary prizes cost $50 per ticket or three (3) tickets for $100. Raffles
may be purchased in advance of the Outing. All winning raffles will then be tossed back into
