All camps will take place at the East Lansing
Hannah Community Center, 819 Abbot Road.
Participants will need to bring a lunch to camp
each day.
Due to the popularity of these camps, all
cancellations must be made at least five days
prior to the first day of camp.

Saving Prince Charming (ages 9-13)
Participants will look at heroes and heroines, from
classic tales to modern media, and build a play around
a heroine who must complete a great task.

Participants will combine music, dance, costumes and

Participants will peruse the mysteries of Sherlock
Holmes and Watson and create an original interactive
mystery performance.

Participants will look at fairy tales and compare to
modern role models, discussing similarities, and what
really makes a princess. An original princess will emerge
for the Friday performance.

The Lost Days of Edgar Allen Poe (ages 11-15)
Participants will dramatically read some of Edgar Allen
Poe’s most famous and heart-pounding pieces before
creating their own thrilling performance that finally
reveals the untold story of Poe’s final days.

Monster School (ages 6-9)
Participants will discuss and practice—with creative
movement—being all kinds of monsters, including
learning to apply monster makeup and creating their
own story about monsters at school to perform at the
end of the week. Please note the extra $20 charge for
