Entering 1st Grade can be quite a change! A week of fun and friends will ease a few
of the “first day jitters.” The week will include books, cooking, science, math and
crafts! It will be fun!!
** possible “lunch bunch” on T and TH until 2:00 for $10/day**

Students may arrive at noon and eat lunch with students coming from morning art
camp

If your child is interested in music and drama, this is the place to be. You will see
the story come alive in music and movement. Wear comfortable clothing. Students may be asked to bring in simple costume items for Friday’s performance.
Parents are invited to attend the final performance at 3:15 Friday on the gym
stage.
After care available until 5:30 for an additional fee.

Campers will learn the full scope of
the fundamentals of cheerleading:
cheers, sideline chants, dances, jumps and basic pyramids. Campers participate in
various spirit competitions, paint signs and develop a new cheer for the week.
Campers will be divided into groups and participate in age-appropriate activities
according to skill level. Campers have the opportunity to come back to campus in
the fall and cheer with the Varsity Cheer Team at halftime of the Choo Choo Bowl
football game.
Wear comfortable athletic clothing (shorts, skorts or cheer outfit and t-shirts), and
tennis or flat-bottomed shoes. Bring a water bottle and snack and a headband or
hair tie.

Get a head start with this "SteppingUp" camp. The theme for the week is
Summer Fun! Children will enjoy
crafts, language arts, math, science, social studies, and
religion activities. This
camp will provide many hands-on classroom experiences as an introduction to the
kindergarten environment. The children will enjoy recess and snack too! WOW!
Who could imagine that school could be this much fun!!!!!

Art in the Garden
Rising 1st – 5th Grades
JUNE 22-26
TIME: 8:30 A.M - 12:00 NOON
$100.00 includes all art supplies
Let nature and the great outdoors inspire you to
get creative! Also, discover how science and art
can be similar. In this art camp we will draw inspiration from famous artists throughout history
who use materials from nature and recycled bits
to create beautiful art. We will collect materials from outside to combine with
traditional art materials to make mixed-media masterpieces. Get ready to
create mosaic stepping stones, explore paper-making, create weavings with
handmade stick looms, and more. Let’s get our hands messy and use our creativity in the outdoor classroom!
What do you need to wear?
We will be making messes so please be
sure to send your camper in clothes that
can get messy. Paint shirts/aprons will
be provided. Tennis shoes or sandals
with back straps are required.
What do you need to bring?
All supplies will be included so bring
yourself, a water bottle, and a snack that is nut-free. We will break from our
activities each day at 10:00 for a brief snack. Campers who intend to stay a
full day of camp for Music and Theatre Camp will also need to pack a lunch
to eat at 12:00. Music Camp will begin at 12:30 and lunch will be supervised
by camp instructors.

Cooking Around the World with Tiny Chefs
Rising 1st – 4th Grades

Campers will meet in the school cafeteria
*Camp schedule is designed to mesh with Spanish Camp for a full day experience*
In this cooking camp your tiny chef will learn about foods from around the
world. Each day we will focus on a different culinary style from around the
world -culminating in a lunch made by the tiny chefs on Friday. As we travel
around the world of flavor we will discuss healthy foods, build new culinary
skills and vocabulary through hands on activities and games. Our goal is to
teach your tiny chefs to appreciate nutritious food while having fun! See additional description below.
Both of these cooking camps will offer children a unique and fun
learning experience. All classes are completely hands-on and everyone will
participate in preparing and cooking a variety of dishes and snacks
daily. Campers will be able to sit and eat what they have prepared, and
then take the recipes home. Each camp will conclude on Friday at 12:00
with a sit-down Mexican-inspired lunch with parents. Parents, make
plans to join us!

Get ready to turn up the heat in this cooking camp! Junior Chef’s will learn
to plan a full meal from table setting, to appetizers, salads or sides, entrées,
and dessert. Campers will learn new culinary skills while focusing on a new
course each day. By the end of the week, your tween chef should be able to
prepare a full meal of nutritional, delicious food. On Friday, the week’s
learning will culminate in the students putting together all their skills to
create a four course meal for lunch. See additional description above.

Boys—Baseball A.M.
Athletes will spend the week learning from OLPH coaches
and special guests on the skills of both Basketball and
Baseball/Softball. Splitting the day in half we will focus on
one sport at a time teaching fundamentals and basics of the game while having fun.
This can be a full or half day camp. Athletes should bring their own lunch as well
as athletic clothing, shoes, cleats, glove, sunscreen, and water bottle.

offered at OLPH. These will include Football, Basketball, Soccer, Volleyball, Baseball/

athlete to learn and develop new skills in multiple sports while having fun. Athletes
should bring their own lunch as well as athletic clothing, shoes, sunscreen, and water
bottle. .
