Shasta Burwinkel
Shasta has a rare and aggressive bone cancer,
spindle cell sarcoma. She has had several
surgeries followed by radiation. She has had the
right side of her jaw removed, including the
hinge, leaving her on a feeding tube for the rest of
her life. She is in therapy to learn how to swallow
and speak again.
