He has journalism degrees from the Music University of Southern California and New York University, and started The Old Lost Neuron Ramblers his career as a staff reporter for The Los Angeles Times. In 2001 he had the opportunity to join the Space.com team as an intern and staff 5:30 p.m. Social Hour.
