The Information Technology Analyst I functions to assure quality data systems by influencing and motivating staff, implementing user requirements, implementing hardware and software needs, and adherence with professional standards. Qualifications: AA Degree Computer Sciences and two years experience in current PC networking systems. Substantive experience may be substituted for educational requirements. Experience with DOS/Windows operating systems. Understanding of PC hardware and networking, including but not limited to, desktop computers, laptops, servers, printers, scanners, multi-function devices, PDA’s, etc.. Ability to coordinate a number of projects to meet specified objectives and to maintain detailed records of these activities and projects. Ability to analyze and specify needs of computer systems. Must have strong problem solving, analytical, and communications skills. Strong networking abilities a must. Special Qualifications: Must be sensitive to the needs of the Native American Community, which includes their culture, traditions, behavioral patterns, and background.
