Friday 27th March 4:15 pm—7:00 pm UniSA Mawson Lakes, Planetarium Building Professor Rob Morrison, of The Curiosity Show fame, Dr Jane Wright, winner of the Prime Minster’s Excellence in Science Teaching Award, Erinn Fagan-Jeffries, SciWorld’s Science Communication Manager and graduate of the Shell Questacon Science Circus and Adelaide Planetarium’s Astronomy Educator Martin Lewicki invite you to an afternoon of certified Professional Development! Suitable especially for Primary and Kindergarten teachers. Learn about scientific investigation and enquiry; see some practical demonstrations that you can do in your own classrooms, ask some questions and enjoy a screening of the night sky and a preview of the Planetarium’s films. It’s all in the one place and it’s the best 3 hours you’ll spend on yourself this term! All participants will receive various flyers containing hints and tips for the classroom. You’ll also have the opportunity to order at special prices, scientific resources for your classroom. Registration from 4:15pm in Room P2.04 The workshop will begin at 4:30 pm and conclude in the Planetarium’s Dome Screening room at 7pm.
