Celebrating the successes of Cleveland District State High School’s graduates Kiana Gallop-Angeles Performing Arts Kiana has been dancing since she was just two years old, and began competing in eisteddfods at the age of four. She began Year 8 at Cleveland District State High School in 2007, where she quickly became involved in the school’s Creative Arts program. Kiana was actively involved in our dance program, and from 2009 was part of a carefully selected team of featured dancers in the Creative Generation: State Schools On Stage annual showcase. In her final year of high school she had the honour of choreographing and dancing the show’s solo dance piece. A highlight of Kiana’s time at Cleveland High was travelling to Europe on the biennial Creative Arts Cultural Exchange. Upon graduating high school Kiana auditioned for and was accepted into a Diploma of Performing Arts at ED5 International, a dedicated performing arts college in Sydney. Before graduating at the end of 2013 she was cast in the ensemble of Opera Australia/GFO production The King and I, and is touring Australia in 2014. CELEBRATING SUCCESS across school and community
